You beat me too it.When it fades use the marker like Endless said. I would worry more about it when it frays but not when it does fade.

I fish the Northstar jig alot and I fish it hard,rocks ect. and I have never did chip a head. As for color or no color of the jig head, it does matter to me! On a bass jig, if it has no paint,I won't fish it! For me brown,green,black and any combo of colors. I worry more about skirt color and my trailer!

No, there are alot of them around,maybe not where you are. But Netbait has them, Zoom,Berkley Power bait worms,Yum,Culprit,Bass Pro,ect.

Well said guys,it is a KILLER in pads. And that 1 oz. on deep weedlines it is almost unfair. And the strikes are vicious!

X 2 On my summer bite pattern on deep weedlines the bite on a jig may be a slow jig the next day they want to bite a football head jigs moving fast. Let the bass tell you what they want.

It is easy to slow down than speed up.It is alot of work to fish a slower reel and fish at high speeds all day. I did also retire last May,MAN this is nice to be able to fish alot more. The down side is my wife has me cooking some.

Very true. I do know if someone goes fishing with a ( I don't care so much attitude ) they really don't want to learn. But someone that puts there mind to it and strives to get better will have success.

X 2 I think they had a problem when they fist came out. I have 4 of them and I fish them hard. Frog rod,T-rig,C-rig,flippin/pitching jigs and I never had a problem!

Zildjian, As for color you just have to let the bass tell you what they want. Trail and error.I have had trips that a pink worm worked. The next trip maybe was a dark worm!
