I also like the NorthStar swim jigs. As for trailers I like the NetBait SR. chunks. But you can use anything! I take a ribbon tail worm and cut the body down and use the tail,small swimbaits,lizards,grubs,baby brush hogs,and one that I found that is a killer is the paddle tail worm like a Netbait Thumber worm!

What is your all time best color crankbait? I am not a big crankbait guy but, I want to get better at them! So the answers I get on color could help my master plan?

Just remember this! frogs are NOT just for slop or cover! They are great for open water also. I fish the Phat frog alot in the summer around docks, over hanging trees,cement walls ect.And they are killers at night but don't tell anyone OK?

I guide at night and I fish alot of big worms! I like the Netbait 15 in. C Mac worm because it has alot of tail and less body than most 15 in. worms.I also like the C Mac 11 in. and the Zoom Ol' Monster. As for colors I like black,junebug,black grape,grape,red shad,tequila sunrise.

I see they came out with this great worm again. I did grow up fishing this worm. I was at Bass Pro last weekend and I bought a bunch.I fish at night alot and I know that they will be a BIG hit this summer! My go to colors were black and black grape. Anyone else?

lThey were fishing milfoil weeds with t-rigs and a jig worm. But I only caught the last part of the show. Is there a way to go back and view that show? I did try you tube with no luck! :-/

All good posts on here. I fish Big worms on night trips. And I fish worms from 10 in. to a 15 in. worm. And you can get away with a 5/0 up to a 7/0 for worms 10 to 15 in. I like the Netbait C-Mac in the 15 in. and that worm is less body and more tail than most 15 in. worms and that is what I want,more tail action!

I did use the Red Label last and I liked it alot. I knoe it on there low end of Flou. line but it worked nice for me. So any more input good or bad?

Great bait ,I have fished them for along time and caught tons of bass on them. They do stink BAd of garlic. I fished them on jig heads, football heads.

Birdman, I went with the HB 898, and it just came by Fed X on Wed. so I was looking at it last night. My boat is in storage so I will have it installed in April sometime. The 898 has a nice size screen and for me I could not see spending bigger money to get the bigger unit. I started out wanting the 788 and then moved up to the 7 in. screen because I am getting old and my eye's need that screen.I know I will love this unit, it is just all the other cost that gets to ya, the ram mount,the cost of the install,the map chip,memory chip. The screen on 898 is big! I hope that I did help? But I know I will be a Bird man from now on!

When I put the transducer on the transom, how far from the motor should I be? Dan

I was going to use the unit that is in my dash for high speed and save some money and not have to get another transducer. Si I am better off putting the SI transducer on the flat part of the transom next to the motor and not under the hull on the step by the drain plug?
