A friend of mine bought a Revo S on a All Star rod combo for $50.00 at Dicks Sporting goods back in March. And he was putting line on and he can't get the side plate off to get at the other brakes. So how do you get the side plate off? I looked at it and I tryed sliding it and there is no button, any help?????

Never mind, I bought one at my Gander store for $ 105.00> I think I could have found it online for cheaper but by the time you add in the shipping I would have spent the same amount!

Raul, I think what you are saying, I agree to a point! I have fished a 5 in. grub and I have caught alot of big bass over the years. If you put a grub where the big ones live they will eat it. I fish grubs in deep water in the summer so my bigger bass meter goes up. I am not saying your wrong so don't get upset with me. just my two cents worth.

Good bait that alot of people don't fish. I like to fish them on a jig head or a mushroom head,T-rig,C-rig,split shot,drop shot (small grub),mojo rig,as a swim jig trailer.

You are wright Northstar jigs and spinnerbaits are top of the line and they won't cost you a arm and a leg! Wire tied skirts,you cannot chip the pait on the heads,colors are amazing. The best advice that I could give to everyone is = just place a small order of jigs or spinners and YOU WILL place another order! Best jigs and spinners that I have EVER fished hands down!!! Red, If you are in a hurry to get some just make a few of your own untill you can order some. Just take one the them lead weights that have them rubber inserts and take the rubber out and crimp the lead part on the hook. They come in alot of weights. Do you know what weight I am talking about?

I just got my 898 Humminbird. I was went fishing with a friend in his boat last year and he had the 898. WOW, I was sold from when he turned it on! The DI and SI was so cool. We found things about the lake that you would have missed with just sonar! All I can say go for it you won't be sorry! Good luck.

I would go with a Tiny Paca craw on a Owner weighted 1/0 hook. Or 5 in. Grub or Beaver bait.

I agree the Paca Craw or the Baby paca Craw are killer baits and they come in a ton of colors!

Yes I fish them at night. But I try more than one color because what may work in the day lite may not be a good color at night! And i fish them with more of a jerk action to get them to move more water, I fish them like a jrekbait at night it makes a big differance.

I also think it is your hook set.Check the jig hook and make sure the hook is sharp! Did you trim the brush guard? I have the Carbonlite so I don't think it is the rod at all!
