Not a bad jig. The knot is a pain to do. For me just not worth it! I will stay with the NorthStar jigs!

All of these are very helpful hints. But I found that if I bend both of the hooks away from the hallow body frog just alittle bit and then up just a hair my hook ups are ALOT better. You may get just a few more weeds but more fish in the boat!

About a week or so I caught the end part of Bass Pro's and I think KVD was fishing the SK SQ. bill crankbait in weeds or should I say wright above the weeds in shallow water? Did anyone see this show? I am not a crankbait kind of a guy but I want to be more well rounded in baits and the crankbait is my big weakness. But I thought that a Sq.bill CB was made to hit and bounce off of cover. If KVD was doing this it could be a big part of my bassin this year. I would throw a swimming jig but this could be cool. Any info would be great!

I have a question, on these crankbaits does it have on the bottom of the crank RC and then how deep it runs?

I knew the FLW pros could get "outside information", but I didn't think the BASS guys could. Last I knew they could no get any outside info within 30 days of an event. Ok, so he could have gotten the waypoints (if he actually did this) before the 30 day cut-off point. If everyone else could do this, what's the big deal? KVD wasn't the only angler fishing that area this week. He just seems to be the one to fishing it the best. Are we just jumping the gun alittle bit? For one ,does anyone know this to ba a fact? And if it was before the 30 day cut off then he is legal and every other BassMaster could have had the same info or had the chance to get it! KVD I would think would NEVER cheat to win. He is on the top of his game and in my mind ,is the very best of the best! So untill this rumor becomes a fact he is my man!

I did go back to my Gander MTN. store and took another look at this magazine. And after further review ! I thought it was a pretty good magazine with alot of info. It is just the price that I have problem with for only 4 mag. a year! :-/ :'(

I am sure am not a expert when it comes down to SI and DI. Think Wayne has to answer this one. But if I were a betting man I would think so.

You just have to play with your unit. Turn your sen. up or down and watch your screen to find your drop shot rig.

thank you! i knew there had to be a cheaper way.. what model do you have? My boat is in storage but I have had it for along time,I think it is a Garman 340.It is a good unit. I am going to buy the Humminbird 898 this year! OH my wife is going to KILL me!

You don't need to spend 1 - 3 grand to see your drop shot! I can pick it up on my Garman on the bow. You just have to make sure you are in the cone angle and you have to play with your sen. alittle.

I still fish a jig worm and I get alot of bass and some big sows. Now I am talking a jig like, a mushroom head or same type of jig on a fin. worm or any small plastic. Do you still fish it? And any input and maybe I can pick up a few tips?
