just curious
Tell you what. I sit down. It has nothing to do with the aiming. Ever notice when there is a baseboard or heating unit beside a toilet it is often rusty? That is caused by standing and peeing. There were times when cleaning the floor around the bowl, I thought the wax ring was leaking. I could smell the urine while cleaning around the base of the toilet. I came to the conclusion it was from the splattering of standing to pee. I started sitting, and no more problem. When dry, it would have no odor. When the wet towel hit the crystals the odor began. So, if you stand to pee, and are concerned about touching something unclean, don't go into the bathroom barefoot. You nailed it Tom! It just sounded better by leaving that part out. ;D

There's a couple in my home town and the wife makes her husband sit while peeing, and he does. ;D Apparently his aim is less that zero'd.

more "bass" fishing.
Paul, when fishing live bait, what kind of hit do these things offer? Do they go all postal, run slow, or is it pretty subtle before the hookset?

Oregon QB Masoli suspended for 2010 season
I don't suppose knowing that they had real careers ahead of them that these were the kind of headlines they dreamed of. : If you want the spot light you need to deserve it, these college/pro sport headlines the last few years make me want to shake my head. Have everything to look forward to and then don't use your head. I type this while listening to yet more Tiger news.

Backdraft...The real thing on video
If your claustrophobic, you had better get over it while wearing one of these; especially if your going into the unknown. Without them, one good gulp and it' pretty much the ball game. And I agree with Larry, if the tank goes, your past caring anyways. FWIW, these tanks are filled with compressed air not oxygen. Old style steel tanks usually held about 1800psi and the newer composite tanks hold 3400psi and more. What's interesting is putting two tanks with the same amount of air on two different people and running them through the same scenerios. One man may get 35 minutes out of his tank and the other may only get 17 minutes.

Totally agreed Larry, but I don't think that house was abandoned as much as it was being remodeled. That looks like a new kitchen/bath window and the patio door opening was roughed in and replaced with an entrance door. As far as roof venting, if they were to go that way, and extension ladder to a sidewall eave and hook ladder to the ridge towards one of the gable ends. Heck, if they would have left that gable window work for them for a while they would have been okay. Dude on ladder needs a refresher too, hope that department can use this for training vid. As far as SCBA, aside from what you see in my avatar pic, I don't wear them as much as I should. That's where I need a kick once and a while.

Hello
Welcome to Bass Resource Rockettman, there's a lot of guys/gals here on the forums with pretty illustrious fishing careers. That makes BR a great place to learn almost more than a person can retain. 8-)

Hello, my name is Creampuffwar and I'm a bass-aholic
Welcome Creampuff! I recently acquired property adjacent to a nice little pond that is supposed to hold some nice bass. Right now I am waiting for ice out so I can assess it and see what makes it tick. It's not the 3 acres that yours is, but it should be fun figuring it out and trying to make it better. Have fun on the forums. 8-)

I quit watching........they were either not a properly trained FD or they like to break rules. The axeman at the door had no business being there, I sure hope no one got seriously hurt. As a side note, that house should have been vented from the roof.

Bring lots of cops..
This kid wasn't messin' around: NORWALK, Calif. A terrified 7-year-old boy begged emergency dispatchers to send police to his Southern California home where three armed robbers threatened his parents, according to a recording of the call released Tuesday. Gunmen broke into the boy's home Tuesday morning and announced that they would take whatever they wanted, Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Steve Kenny said. The boy and his 6-year-old sister hid unnoticed in the locked bathroom while the suspects threatened his mother and father at gunpoint. "There's some guy who's going to kill my mom and dad," he said breathlessly. "Bring cops. A lot of them! ... And soldiers, too." The suspects eventually broke into the bathroom and someone screamed. The 911 operator sounded shaken as she explained what happened to her colleagues. Kenny said the suspects grabbed the boy and asked who he called. He responded, "911." The gunmen fled without taking anything or injuring the family. "If not for the brave and educated actions of the 7-year-old boy, this might have ended tragically," said sheriff's Capt. Pat Maxwell. The three men remain at large.
