  1. Aww Ronnie, really wanted to be able to meet you in person. Glad your back to work, but it sure would have been nice to have you there. I would like to thank you for making this happen again this year, as it will be my first. Here's to you Alpster!
  2. I think it means STARTING at 59.99 which is how much the triumphs cost because I saw this too. But I own a premier crankin rod and I love it. I have the medium power moderate or moderate fast action? Either way its very flexible and can cast the lures I want very well. I think your probably right on that starting price thing. As to the cranking issue, I have mhm that does quiet well also.
  3. That's awesome. a 25.5 walleye is a dang nice fish, great job kid!
  4. I have. It's possible that they may baby sit me Saturday morning until I can find Kelley. X2 on the thanks to Deb and Greg. ff15
  5. I remember what you said about a dry county, and luckily I don't drink. Is George Dickel #8 available around there? If I could find some of that and a little ice I think I could give this beverage thing a whirl!
  6. Welcome to the boards Chris 8-)
  7. Welcome to BR Iceman, finally! I'll have a set of room keys waitin' for you and Btech when you guys get there.

  11. This is way to cool. Good thinking on the rescuers part: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090324/od_afp/thailandchildrenoffbeat
  12. For me, a slow steady retrieve with intermittent pauses. I've tried trailers, but when I used to use them regularly, never realy noticed a difference in catch rate. Years ago up on the Winnepeg any presentation was enough for the northern.
  13. So is frying up a bunch of fish in lard, grease and butter with plenty of salt better than red meat? ;D
  14. So was that a line class fish also?
  15. I like a rear drag better. Funny you brought this up, I've been wondering lately if one is mechanically better that the other. :-/
  16. Dont forget your neighbors to the north.... and at least one cheese head!
  17. Congrats on the double whammy! 8-) Get a picture up so we can see.
  18. Cool, 8-) nice looking catch there.
  19. ;D ;D ;D, a step up from the other day. I would say you guys are on the right track
  20. Welcome the the BR forums 8-)
  21. Welcome to BR
  22. Just checked it out. Wouldn't mind gettin' on them for a couple of hours. Thanks Speed and CJ for the bait tips. Pitchin', if we got a way to fry um' up, I'll go catch em.
  23. Yeah, that's what I'm lookin' for! My ma's all ready on me to make sure I come back with a few. Taking a full cooler down that should be empty by the time I am ready to come home. Thanks, I can't wait.
  24. Was my concern with light bait casting unfounded? I was second guessing myself without actually taking the WLP out for a spin. I should have really researched this part before ordering to begin with.
