  1. Bitchin' ride Catt, sorry to hear about the bad news. With luck it will be found intact and minimally the insurance company will do right by them...
  2. I'm not a really a big fan of wings that'll scorch your taste buds, as I'd like to think I've gotten a little smarter with age. However, IMHO the best best chicken wings I've ever eaten were served at the Anchor Bar, where it all started.....
  3. Looking forward to Thursday. Go Dubs!
  4. That's a baby blimp Travis! Congrats on the PB
  5. d**n! I just turned on the tv and it's 72-31 to start the 3rd quarter. The only way I can see the Celtics making the Finals would be if the winner of Patriots vs the Browns decided who would go.
  6. It's an ugly game, unfortunately pretty much like the last time they played during the regular season.
  7. I'm goin' with "perfect" for top water :-)!
  8. Welcome to the Forums elrodphil. I think you'll be headed to SoCal for the calico bass and the surfin' scene. You'll probably be flying into Orange County or San Diego, but I'm pretty confident the members who live down there will hook you up and get you headed in right direction. Safe travels and good fishing, JB
  9. brgbassmaster, nice lunker punker fish and great photos!
  10. Beautiful big girl, and a bonus getting her on top water! Great account by the way
  11. Dubs started out like all they had to do was show up, as opposed to the Spurs who were prepared and more aggressive outta the blocks. The game was up for grabs until the final horn...
  12. I think we're pretty much of the same opinion on this issue, and I look forward to your thoughts after you see that 30 for 30 piece on Calipari. And now back to the NBA Playoffs....
  13. I can appreciate your opinions flyfisher, but wasn't the time period you mentioned also when the "international" players started to fill out rosters. And before I saw the ESPN 30 for 30 segment on Calipari, I believed in players getting a college education and playing experience. After the show, I had a better understanding of Calipari's motivations, and the financial situations of some of these young men. I have to admit it isn't an exact science in how players are drafted in any sport...
  14. Agreed, I was kind of surprised by the final score... I gotta say I did appreciate Houston scoring 75 points as as tribute to the Warriors first West Coast title! Another great time the East Bay sports bandwagon...
  15. Fisherrw, you might want to check out the video- Pro Team Journal, " Left Coast Spots" featuring BASS Elite Angler Cody Meyer getting them averaging 8lbs throwing a Strike King Ocho. Hope this helps, JB
  16. Yep, your Rockets are "Runnin as One" right out of the gym and into the the off season... Go Dubs!
  17. I'm surprised by the above comments that you guys aren't getting bit on the plopper and those colors in general. I only throw the 130 and was skeptical of the lure at first. But when they want to eat it, it's more like they want to kill it. Just keep chucking it, it'll pay off!
  18. 'That's funny th365thli! Good luck out there, JB
  19. Nice Jtrout, gotta love the plopper when they really want to eat it!
  20. Congratulations NCBassAssassin! If you're gonna catch 1, that's "The One"!
  21. What Tom said th365thli is money. The docks used to hold big slab crappie after the spawn. Half Moon Bay is someplace to check out early morning cause some of the big girls like to come up shallow, especially if foggy or overcast. If you have electronics, maybe check out how far Alder Point goes out, you might be surprised....
  22. I'll be pulling for the Dubs as well Darren, just like I have the past 45+ years . I have to say, the most competitive second round series has been Boston/Washington and the least competitive Cavs/Raptors. Hopefully the Dubs can close out the Jazz to night and join the Cavs in the "who can get the most rest between series" category...
  23. Sorry @Senko lover lover to hear about how your battle with that big girl ended. I'm sure you'll be successful in your quest to land that lunker in the lake the next time you cross paths. JB
  24. 'Very true. It's a job anyone can do, but not everyone can. No one calls to tell you they're having a great day. You appreciate fishing for the solitude it provides
