  1. On da money! And come to think of it, for 5 million dollars more the Thunder could have kept Harden, who's probably gonna be the MVP of the league this year.
  2. Congratulations to Russel Westbrook on his Shaqtin' a fool MVP!
  3. Congratulations Golden State Warriors, 2017 NBA Champions! Welcome back Larry! Much respect to the Cavs, they played a great series.
  4. In keeping with the theme on money. A long time ago my dad dropped this little nugget of advice, "Son, money can't buy you love, but you can live without it". I didn't take his advice on this and I think things still worked out just fine...
  5. X-2, I only own the same two colors and throw the 130
  6. Wow, have yourself a half Cleveland! Draining 3's, Kyrie getting to the rim, 25+ trips to the charity stripe.... Like the great philosopher Yogi Berra once said...
  7. I saw PJ Carlesimo on ESPN this morning commenting on the Finals. Just reminded me as one example of how far the Warriors have come as a team and organization over the years. I've enjoyed this thread during the playoffs. I am looking forward to a good game, and hopefully a little bit of history. Go Dubs!
  8. Lilbuddy, Sorry to hear about the new direction you've decided to go with this situation. If I may suggest, maybe try a couple of the aforementioned solutions before letting the boat go, I would hope the Mrs wouldn't begrudge you the opportunity. Good luck with your decision and good fishing, JB
  9. Congratulations on your retirement and joining the "Every day is Saturday" club! Great way to start off retirement by going 10-8 with your Godson and and your best friend and getting on some fish. Enjoy retirement and continued good fishing Columbia Craw, JB
  10. Welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums Josh, and it looks like your trip to trip to the States has a dance card full of good fishing. If you make it out West and want to fish the California Delta, let me know. Safe travels and good fishing, JB
  11. Sorry, it's been a while since I had to buy a new cutting board, lol. I figured they'd be about half that. I gonna guess he uses the cookie sheets cause he knows they cost 3 bucks!
  12. lilbuddy, I glad you took a look at them because I wanted to give you an idea of what that opinion looked like. I'm sure they are rated differently regarding weight, and two of them is the expensive option. Teflon boards or cutting sheets are impervious to water and as my friend likes to remind me, were $3.00 bucks each. Look forward to hearing how this works out for you and what you decided, JB
  13. ChrisD46- You'll never have to worry about or buy another with this spooling station. I've been using this model for a while (1980's). Cabelas price of $14.99 isn't as inexpensive as some of the examples mentioned above, but it will provide you years of reliable, consistent service. BTW, on FishUSA, the new Berkeley spool station model was $25.99.
  14. Congratulations on the new boat lilbuddy, it's a good looking ride. There are two ways I am aware of to solve this problem. A friend of mine has a 20ft boat and the same unique situation. He places teflon cutting boards on the garage floor behind the trailer tires, unhitches the trailer, then manually backs the boat up so the tires rest on the cutting boards. Since there is little friction due to using the teflon boards, he can spin the boat sideways as needed. 'The other option is a "vehicle positioning wheel dolly" which is how car dealerships move vehicles in their showrooms. Harbor Freight has them for $89.99. Hope this is helpful. JB
  15. WOW! What a game. KD and the Dubs defense was the difference in the end. LeBron and Kyrie had monster games ...
  16. Glad to hear it was recovered and relatively intact.
  17. If "Common Sense" was common, everyone would have it...
  18. $1500?!?! Sounds more like a circuit, not a club. I'd like to think for that kind of cash you'd be eating steak and eggs on tournament day, with a BBQ afterwards.
  19. If you have a little bit of water under the cheese, and there are blow holes where the fish have broken through... work a frog or punch it. Oh, and be prepared to hang on !
  20. Thanks Ron, I agree Honda's last forever if you take car of them. As a family we've had 6 Accords and this is the first Acura. I'm proud to say she's a little saver and has been putting money away since jr high. And her '03 Accord she got in high school has 235k and she finally agreed it was time. Her big sister just bought an Accord, hence the Acura. Funny thing though, same color .
  21. 'Ahh Dwight, I'll bite on that one... the Cavs have the "king", the ultimate warrior. At least that's what the t-shirt said after last year's finals. IMHO, the Dubs defense has been contesting almost every shot by LeBron, Kyrie, and Love. It's not the same defense the Cavs saw in the Eastern series where LeBron got to spin the ball a couple times before draining a three. T. Thompson has been kept off the boards, where he's not getting put backs and the Cavs second possessions. The Dubs pace is how they play and is wearing down the Cavs as was pretty evident towards the end of game 2. To your point Dwight on the addition of KD, it does force the Cavs to play the Dubs straight up on defense. And through the first 2 games the regular season defensive rankings are holding true. Pivotal game tomorrow...
  22. Definitely some tasty looking burgers that I shouldn't be looking at as I type this comment on an empty stomach! 5 Guys burgers are pretty good, but I'm still a fan of In-N-Out Burger, especially their fries. Haven't tried Whataburger yet. Robert, have you been to Val's in Hayward? They're still making burgers and shakes like it was the 50's and still only take cash...
  23. Nice fish, gotta love top water! Looking at her tail, big girl was definitely doin' some work!
  24. Agreed. I heard one of the talking heads mention the Cavs took 100 shots and after your post I had to see for myself. Towards the end of the the game there was a shot of a gassed LeBron who appeared to me to be kind of shocked that the effort his team put forth would have beaten the Dubs last year but not on this game. BTW, at this point KD is looking like the MVP these Finals...
  25. 'I can't comment on the national anthem as I was in Oakland with my daughter buying her first car. I'm just glad to hear it is still played before games. Granted, the television networks only show it being played before major contests, otherwise it seems sponsored commercials and what the announcers have to say takes precedence over the national anthem. Jar11591, I had to fact check on the FGA's and was kind I was kinda surprised at the box score. The Cavs put up 100 attempts to the Dubs 89 shots. It was the three point line where the Dubs poured in 18 3's to the Cavs 8 which really stood out as the difference in my opinion. The Cavs played hard, but the Warriors matched and then surpassed the Cavs energy level and matching every run in game two. These 2017 Dubs are healthy, focused, and appear to be on a mission excorcise a 3-1 collapse. Gotta wait for Wednesday evening and in the mean time good fishing all, JB I just had to add a pic of my happy little girl and her new ride. So I missed the start of the game. It was worth it.
