  1. 4 1/2 and 6" Roboworm straight tail and fat straight tail worms Roboworm flat tail worm *** and Zoom finesse worms Yamamoto 4" kut tail 3" Berkley Gulp Minnow Berkley Ripple Shad Gene Larew Long John and like someone else said, anything I pull out of the used baits bag.
  2. I have three of the gold casting rods, 6'2''M, 6'10''MH, 7'10''M. All are great rods but I have had trouble out of the gold series. The 6'10 was the first one I bought, got it off of ebay for around $130. I fish cranks and jerkbait with it and over about a year and a half the tip started grooving with mono/copoly. It hasn't effected the performance but t should no have happened. I recently bought the other two on sale at current prices. I use the 7'10'' for cranks and the 6'2'' for small weight baits with a Daiwa Pixy. It seems that the guides are a bit different on the older and newer rods that are on closeout. The paint is also fragile and scratched easily.
  3. If this were high school I would have said: Robert Plant Chris Cornell Eric Clapton Jim Morrison Maynard James Keenan Now, I can't stand most of the music I used to listen to but this is how it might go now Robert Plant can't stand Zeppelin much any more but he stays Chris Cornell Anthony Caleb Followill Eric Clapton Jim Morrison Nick Thomas Maynard James Keenan There's so many good ones that those aren't the best ever but relevant to my current tastes
  4. I think a lot of people refer to copoly lines within the mono category because it's not FC or braid so it has to be mono. Personally I really like copoly lines, I use either CXX, CX, Floroclear, and sometimes Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  5. I'd say dobyns, I've had both and like my savvys much more than the magnesiums. The savvy balances better, is more sensitive, has a little more power (in MH, H are very similar), and the handle is a little longer (matters to me).
  6. I love rollcoasters but have chosen to forgoe the fun to avoid another back surgery. I love them, but I'd rather be able to stand and walk.
  7. I have the $20 berkley and it said this fish was 2.6, turned it off and back on, 2.11, fish shook, 3.2. It was 16" and at least 14" in girth, my estimate was 3.14-4.2.....fish calculator says 4.8 at those measurements.
  8. Bono? He's still alive unfortunately oh, he's U2, i thought he was solo guy. now Im curious who Im thinking of, cause I swear it was U2 that lost their singer. I believe you are thinking of INXS
  9. For me it was between kiss, aerosmith, and nickelback. I've got a buddy that loves all three, you should try being in a band with him.
  10. J - Johnny Morris X - XPS ? 6 - 6' 6 - 6'' M - Medium T - Trigger
  11. the 704c is a good rod, it's between a MH and H but has all the power you need for everyday fishing. I don't think I'd choose it for heavy vegitation but it has plenty of power for normal use. I like to use mine, or similar rods, for texas rigs, jigs in sparce cover or open water, and carolina rigs.
  12. yeah...E5 doesn't come in a 201 but the revo winch and Daiwa Zillion come in a lefty....I use an E5 and love it but if I had to get a lefty it would be either of those two. If you want to go faster with a 6.4 then take your pick, there are plenty of lefties in 6.x
  13. Right-handed, cast right-handed, use right-handed casting reels and left-handed spinning reels. Fished with a left hand reel a few weeks ago, it feels awkward but could really see the benifit for me, I have a very weak hookset. I'm not gonna switch all 18 of my reels for lefties but I see the advantage for some.
  14. Kazzam I started to watch Dead Snow at work today but got interupted and started watching Dexter. I really like the Hellraiser movies, House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects, Zombieland, Ginger Snaps, High Tension is a good one, I used to love the original Wizard of Gore. Romero's movies are always good, not only the "Dead" movies but used to love Monkey Shines.
  15. I know what you mean, there's one lake back home that I have been fishing on several times with the same 2 buddies. The have both done very well on this lake but for me, it's cursed. I have caught exactly 7 fish while fishing with them, all dinks. Now I don't get to fish it much and I do much better at other lakes but there, it just doesn't happen for me. The same goes for when I am fishing with my dad, he outfishes me 9 times out of 10. I have trouble with fish of legal size as well. I have caught plenty of fish since I have been fishing but keepers allude me. At the lakes back home I have caught several but on the current lake I fish I have caught 1. The limit here is 20'', it was 5.1lbs and just barely a keeper. I've caught many 3-4lb fish here but most under 19 1/2''.
  16. Ive thrown several combos over board, never lost one but plenty have hit the drink.
  17. I hardly ever go fishing without throwing a deep diver, no matter the conditions or time of year.
  18. I use two colors no matter what kind of water I fish, green and clear
  19. The already did, another 7.3 zillion and a brick of an exceler cranking reel. The real question is why don't we get the new daiwa reels here
  20. I use a variety of different lines, still trying to find what suits me the best. So far, CXX fits the bill for a copoly, I use it for cranking(10lb), average cover and bait size(12-15lb), and heavy cover or baits(17-20lb). I have used YZ Hybrid and liked it, I used to use 8-12lb on my spinning reels and liked it on baitcasters too, I now use P-Line Floroclear and Seaguar red label on my spinning reels.
  21. I've always wanted a 7'M casting copperhead for cranks and jerkbaits but never bought one. I've not fished any of their rods but I would do either the Copperhead, K-lite, or Feather Touch t6. As far as a rod for shakey heads, I use a 7'M.
  22. I dont think i would use those for a dropshot, they don't look like they would stand out right. For me, it's owner mosquito hooks by far, anything else is lacking. I've tried stand out hooks and other dropshot specific hooks and the best I've found have been the mosquitos. Gammie finesse hooks are good and octopus hooks are ok but I prefer the owners.
