manns 10 inch hard nose snake
bought some about 2 years ago and still have them, never caught anything on them. They are an ok bait but you have to have a relatively fast retrieve to keep them above water. They look good, I have brown/copper I think and it looks like a real snake in the water.

So...I just emailed Stike King
I bought a series 2 or 3 bait a few years ago that the paint had ran down and was still tacky. I emailed them to tell them about the problem and I told them I wasn't looking for a replacement. They emailed me within a day and said they had some other complaints and it was a certain batch that had got through QC. They told me to keep the bait and asked for my address, less than a week later I had a box that had 2 new baits and a hat.

Spro BBZ 1 shad vs Revolution Shad 4 inch
I can't catch fish on either, nor can I catch fish with the TT, SK sexy swimmer, magic swimmer, or really any other swimbait, and I have a small collection ofdifferent baits.

Yeah, it..umm...EVAPORATED ! yeah that's the ticket...
I thought it was eaten by a oil munching algae or bateria in the gulf, wasn't that the explanation a few weeks ago. In all honesty, that oil has been down there for over 100 years : and I'm sure it leaks out onto the ocean floor from time to time without us knowing. I'm inno way supporting the idea that it doesn't harm anything but it's a natural occurring substance.

Do you believe in Extra-terrestrial life?
We've not even discovered all the different beings on our own earth, it's completely logical for there to be other inhabited planets. Now, do I believe extra terrestrial beings are little green/blue humanoids that are technologically advanced and have mastered space and time travel, not so much. At the most I would feel comfortable in saying there are probably beings that are on par with earth dwellers.

Shakey Head Jig
one of my favorites aswell

Shakey Head Jig
I use the Arkie Shakey Head jigs from walmart and really like them, they are cheap, easy to get, and the hooks are good, I've had two bad hook points in almost two years.

KVD-His strengths
very seldom see him throw a spinnerbait or jerkbait anymore. I would say he is a crankbait fisherman now

Walleye Trolling Tips?
We have walleye in a lake back home and every once in awhile I will troll for them at night when I'm with my dad. Usually a little break from a slow night of fishing. I have caught two in the last few years, don't do it that much, one on a Norman DD22 and one on a Strike King Series 3. We straight line, no boards, deep diving cranks with depths relative to where we are fishing. I'm pretty sure that it's a little different here than at Erie so I don't think I'm much help. Shiny baits seem to work well

What does Crankbait really imitate?
What I want to know is what the heck ribbon tail worms imitate, or a Rage Tail Anaconda for that matter, I've never seen a Knife fish swimming in any of the water I fish. I like that trap, never really cared for craw baits but that looks like it would do the trick for ripping it up off the bottom

7' vs 7'6 rod
I have a 7'MH Lucky Craft Cranking rod and have been using it for over a year and couldn't be happier. I fish everything for Norman Middle-Ns to Fat Free Shads and DD22s with great success and good distance. A month ago I didn't think extra length made a difference, until I bought a 7'10''M Carrot Stix Gold on sale at TW. I am getting atleast 5-10 yards on a lob cast and more on a hard cast. I have actually spooled my Sol a few times that is filled with 12lb P-Line Floro-clear. Comparatively, the Carrot Stix action is slower, it has a little less power, and the tip is softer than the LC, and it's not a cranking rod, just a regular F action gold. It makes a great deep crank rod. In short, longer is better, and if it's an option for you, it should be considered. If it's left out constantly, you'll be prone to thrw it more which is never a bad thing.

Looking for a L or UL spinning rod
I've been looking at Fenwick, specifically the Elite Tech River Runner, 7'2''L sounds like it may be the ticket http://www.fenwickfishing.com/prod.php?k=378070&sk=378070&p=PURERR58UL-F%20(1205787)

Looking for a L or UL spinning rod
I've really had trouble finding one too, I may either start looking at ML or go for a shorter rod. I'll probably go shorter, the Powell has been on my radar since I decided to start looking. I have two of their BC rods and really like them. I'd love to throw $300 down on a rod but if I did, this wouldn't be the rod. Thanks RW but I'll pass, I'm really looking for a willow branch of sorts which makes me not want to go above light power.

Looking for a L or UL spinning rod
Oh....sorry....no real budget, I'd like to stay under $200 though

Looking for a L or UL spinning rod
what are your suggestions. I'd like to have something around 7' and 1 piece preferably. Wanting it really for bluegill, crappie, and maybe bass with crappie jigs. I've already got a reel so I'm just interested in rod suggestions.

Whats your opinion on lead?
In my profession, lead is a must. Without lead, you might as well remove your thyroid and testes/ovaries before taking a job
