  1. Glad you are happy with the products, at those prices, they can't be beat!
  2. Just got off the water, will re-post a new list for everyone right after I eat.
  3. Whatever they do,..I hope they don't put it in the middle where it belongs! lol Actually, I think someone did. I love driving my center console boats. You really feel like you're in the driver's seat (even though you are standing)
  4. Muddy- I don't think anyone is taking your question personally at all. I think it's a great question and I'm glad it was asked so I had a chance to let people know where I stand. I have taken a "more than firm" stand on my opinion of the knock-offs vs GYCB and I apprecdiate the opportunity to let everyone know that what I say comes from my experiences and is not a "persueded" or "paid for" opinion. I'd bet money that Roadwarrior feels the same way. RW is NOT a GYCB pro-staffer. I'm sure people wonder how much free stuff he gets because he reccommends GYCB's so steadfastly. He doesn't and that's the truth. He endorses them because he believes they catch him the fish he is hunting. This is a great example because we are both mods and have completely opposite views on this subject. This gives us,mods anyway, a chance to let everyone know that when we publicize our opinions, it's not sponsor vs sponsor, it's angler opinion vs angler opinion. Someone needed to ask this eventually and I think you did it in a more than fair, strictly curious way. Everyone needs to keep in mind though that just because guys are sponsored and may answer your question with a suggestion of such a product,...this does not make them a bad guy. For example. If someone were to ask for a plastics suggestion for throwing at the edge of lily pad fields, I would expect one of the GYCB pro-staffers to answer with "try the Fat Ika". I'm not on the team but that's what I would answer with. Now if someone is sponsored by "Bill's Lizard baits" and every answer they had was to "throw a lizard in there",...well,..that's different. It's one thing to promote a product through your endorsement of it but it's a totally different thing to "Push" the product into every crack you think it can fit in. *I use the GYCB pro staffers as an example because they operate with integrity.
  5. WHATEVER YOU DO,...don't get that boat wet!!...you guys are tapped!!,lol.
  6. Crawling away on knees, clutching stomach,...tongue dragging Xmas,........has been cancelled, lol

  8. Smith & Wesson dropped you?
  9. I was just speaking with Brent at *** and he was explaining his sponsorship program and how I would fit right in (this is just this week). I explained that I publicly represent all brands that offer a better bait/dollar ratio and his in particular because he offers a good value, the right colors and great customer service. I appreciate the offer from Brent and others but I have defended knock-offs so whole heartedly here that I wouldn't want my opinion to be percieved as "paid for". What I throw I pay for. I'm not even sure what the rules are on moderators accepting things like product sponsorship's etc. I have recieved a few "test baits" from hand pourers, etc, requesting an opinion and I give it. Free. Also, all my gear , I paid for. Just so everyone knows
  10. You mean someone is taking credit for my jokes somewhere else? NO POACHING,lol. > I know some of Chris' stuff ws copied,...pobably published, lol
  11. But I bet Bill gets to be a test pilot for alot of those ,lol.
  12. Please PM Glenn with the link. Thanks!
  13. No,.he just has the golden invite list. But at the same time, you don't get on that list without respect, I'm sure. The long and short of it is that he's a nice guy, bit of a goober even, that has and still does tons for the industry.
  14. That must be a biggie down there. Up here,we can see what's coming for the most part as it comes across the Ohio Valley. Plus I got Hawg_Hunter in Iowa and it seems I get his exact weather, 5 days later. Almost odd! When they say, in New England "If you don't like the weather, stick around a minute", it's more about temp drops. 80 and sunny today and 55 and raining tomorrow. We really don't get those stealth storms that brew instnantly like in your parts. I imagine it adds a whole new element to your game plan. Always have an out. When we get hit with a hard storm, it either is the hurricane that missed you and flew up the coast to my back door or the ones that sit out over the ocean and wait till it's big enough to do real damage before it moves over land and sits there for 3 days, lol. (Nor' Easter, capitalized for a reason!)
  15. That would be like Studying for your masters final. I don't think I'm capable of absorbing as much as they could tell me,lol.
  16. Go fishing man. If it ever feels "squishy",..then do some investigating but until then, go enjoy her!
  17. Electric only lakes,..exactly. Many use both transom and bow mounts. Remember though that the more 24v motors you add, each gets 100 lbs worth of batteries. Can get so that you are defeating the purpose. It's a fine line but for boats like mine,...2 are a must*. Thanks to The Georgia crew for turning me on to that. *Things I have learned having 2 motors now. 1. I use 1 strictly for cruising to the next area so it's only "on" for the long hauls. With this in mind, I use the other for both long hauls and minor adjustments while fishing. This being known, I can fish till that main battery is stone cold dead and I will still have a ton left in the "cruising only" battery to get me home. This has widened my "on water" window from 4-5 hrs to 7-8 hrs. HUGE 2. When fishing open water with wind, those long hauls used to shorten the battery time by maybe an hour due to having tostruggle so hard. Now with 2 motors,I push right through the wind, stressing each motor much less therefor increasing battery time. 3. In the wind, the bow doesn't drift if your attention strays for a moment, boat has much more forward momentum, increasing trackability. The corrections to course before also would reduce battery time. So would paying attention,lol,...but..... My .02
  18. During my beginner days, Bill's show was very informative for teaching the basic lures and techniques. I like the way the show (one of the very first info-mercials) would highlight one particular bait and then encompass all you need to know on how to catch with it from type of equipment to technique to when to use it. I think I've pretty much surpassed the need for that type of format in a show but Bill taught COUNTLESS anglers of my generation how to fish via the boob tube. As far as those who say they hate him,....how can you "hate" anyone you've never met,...much less someone who is holding a fishing rod?
  19. Now we're talking,...thanks guys. To the person I PM'd---I havn't sent it yet seeing as how I have yet to put my own mojo in it. I'm fishing tomorrow, Dirk and I are taking out some kids from the shriners hospital, we can't take pics of them but we can get a pic of he and I adding mojo. I'll send it out asap but with the holiday, that won't be till Wednesday. Then it's off and around the world she goes! Whoever sends it to Vyron, I'll help with shipping if it's crazy but I'd really like to see it go overseas also. Vyron and his buddies have a nice collection of pics that we need to add this to . Vyron, if you should recieve it, get it on all your friends fish also and get it back to the states asap please. TIME IS THE ISSUE HERE! (I know, Iknow, I'm the first one to hold it up but it wouldn't seem right to send it on the road without having a home. It will be baptised tomorrow. COREY- my mistake,...I was thinking of Colby
  20. Nice Chris, you must be pumped. I know the guys at Yamaha will be when they see the pic of the 12+you had in her the other day Curios question- We all know Yamaha distributes G3 but on my buddies, it says right on the coast guard tag "manufactured by skeeter". Does yours say that too? Wondering if it's just the 12's .
  21. Yup. We ran a trip down to Lake Fork in March where a bunch of us met up. As far as at home, I have fished with Dirk_Jig-Lure-RI Redtail-Mass Senko77-Geoorgia NBoucher(next week)-Mass. Metalhack-Mass etc Great place to make new fishing buddies.
  22. COREY? The Corey? uh-oh,...trouble in the house,lol,... ;D Welcome Aboard man, bout time!
  23. As long as I'm catching the largest class fish in the lake, then It doesn't matter what coast I'mon. Just like if you've never caught a smallie, you would be pretty psyched with a 3lbr. ( I know, I know, more psyched if it weighed 12) . That would be a cool trip. They should do a show like "wife swap" but call it "home turf" swap. I could go to Cali and bag a bucketmouth of a lifetime with Matt and then he could come see how to rig a 15 lb fish as bait, lol. Or just sendf the guys to each others lake and see how they do. That would be cool. Call it "road trip"
