that's awesome man. I was born in Bermuda and my parents had friends that lived in Spain. My brother and sister (7 and 9 yrs older) both got to go and stay with them and their 2 kids would come to Bda for the summers. Although I was too young to go, it was a great ordeal all around. Their door is still open to me and mine to them. Last time they visited, was in '91 and I took them skiing. They had never seen snow before.

the optima that was the same price as the 220 min reserve die hard was almost $300. They are a great battery and the spiral cell technology really works but for the money......

OK, we first challenged these folks on Oct 30th. After 2 re-submissions, I still havn't heard a single word from ESPN. Not a "no thanks", not a "we are considering..." NOTHING This is a. just plain rude b. bad business c. EXTREMELY annoying when every week this guy calls people out. Well, we replied to his call,......repeatedly,.....now what? I give up

Abso-friggin-lutely!!! Best small amount of money you'll ever spend. Maybe it's bad but my whaler trailer gets dipped in the salt weekly, I didn't dock it last year, but for the last 5 yrs (since I bought it used) I replaced bearings and never pulled of the bearing buddies ever since. Every 4 or 5 trips, I just put the grease gun on the nipple and pump till the grease spilling out the other side changes from dirty to clean.

The saltwater boat comes out every 3rd weekend, sea grass is a beatch up here. Freshwater maybe once. When I lived on the lake, if I pulled it out at all it was for lower end inspection,etc, but it would get a quick scrub just the same.

Another great post. Question: I have certainly found the first cove to turn after ice out. we had about a 3 week period after ice out when the fish moved into this cove in waves. We would catch 5 or 6 and the bite would die but soon pick up again. Key point is that these were all good size fish. I noticed last year that this cove was LOADED one day with craws. They were everywhere, right out in plain site as if they just came from hibernation and were just sitting there warming up. Bass buffet. I have no shad in this lake The thing is that this cove requires a bit of travel from the deep water for the bass. The cove is actually in another cove that is off the main lake. The deep water is probably about 4 football fields away. Do those bass stay in that cove till their instinct moves them to their next stage or are they commuting from the deep water for the buffet on a daily basis?

I was taught that a deep cycle battery needs to be re-charged as slowly as possible. I have used 2 amp for years and they still charge right up overnight. I was told the 10a will definately charge it overnight but can also start to burn out some of the cells much quicker. In short it will charge it quicker w/ 10a but will reduce it's life more with each charge as opposed to 2a. INPUT?

I've been using the monster sized sears die hards for years. 220 min reserve!! They have always outlasted whatever my partner buys. This year they put is new Optima to shame. Optima, great batts for car audio or anytime mounting location requires a little creativity, as far as price vs hours used,.....no value there.

Depends how young but bluegill fishing is non-stop action. It kept all my nieces in the game while they were growing up, great time to teach ecology and respect for the environment also. We would always take a trash bag w/us and clean up the shoreline we were fishing. The ice cream treat at the end of the day was based on how much trash we took out, not how many fish we caught. Be sure to post pics when you go!

I'm just cutting it up with you because it seems to be a question targeted directly at anyone willing to argue. It's like me going to "tackle" forum and saying all ugly stix are lame. If you are serious and are expecting an educated answer you will need to do the research to such an off-the-wall, incorrect comment like this first and then ask the question differently like,... "Has one particular demographic region produced more top ten anglers than all the others and if so,are these results consistent year to year?"
