  1. Hey man....I know that dude man,.....ANOTHER HOOKER IN THE HOUSE!!! Everyone give a warm welcome for a good friend of mine and a dammmn fine tactician. "Mr. Versatile" we call him. Hates to lose,...turns into a grumpy wuss, lol Will never throw what you do, actually will throw somthing to compliment what you're throwin' Did I mention he hates losing? haha Welcome Brotha!
  2. Glenn, I'm really not sure how these boards work but when I was on another forum for car audio, there were 4 or 5 moderators. Have you ever considered asking for a little help?
  3. yea but more importantly,.....what rattlinrogue said!
  4. funny thing is,...there's no big team keeping this thing up and running, ....Just Glenn. 3 cheers for Glenn!!
  5. the switches are cheap, lets hope the armature is still good.
  6. The herculiner will work for now but overall will just be a bandaid. My last jon was a lowe that had over 40 bad rivets. I drilled them out and filled the hole w/ a tapered head bolt (from underneath) and a nut on the inside. The tapered head fits into the old hole regardless of it's exact size. I put a dab of 3m 5200 marine adhesive/sealant in each hole first. Never had a problem since.
  7. I snorkeled my lake about 3 years ago,.best thing I ever did.
  8. senko, how long will you be in RI,.maybe we could get out during the week too and you can bring your fly rod for some blues.
  9. totally, did you see argyll's boat?
  10. Hope all our southerners here are staying safe down there. Good luck to you and your families this hurricane season. Iwas wondering if hurricanes are different from any other storm as far as fishing goes. I know "Andrew" or one of those , really messed up old Okie a few yrs back. Now, we all know fishing can be great during a storm but a hurricane? I know, I know, noone is about to go find out in 80mph winds but maybe just before it hits? Are the bite swings as strong as the barometer swings?
  11. yea, but if you fill the bucket w/ 6 inches of water, it's now a crapper too, can you crap in the bag ? I use the bucket primarily in salt water where the boat is bigger and the water much deeper. Just pointing out a money saver but great points.
  12. Save your cash and use a 5 gallon bucket. Works great for small boats.
  13. Been talking to argyl a bit and I would say go for it. If I can help, let me know. This is the boat I just did. http://bassresource.com/cgi-bin/bass_fish/YaBB.pl?board=boating_ID;action=display;num=1119359773
  14. alloymike,..remember when these were just outside of snug harbor?? Those were the days! PS- you have a pm.
  15. Someone else--fish fishburne peferably Wilma Flintstone or Betty Rubble? (we do this on the boat all the time, give it a try, you really start stretching for stuff when it's just the two of you)
  16. nick, I hope it wasn't me that offended you. I have enjoyed your posts and are one of the few who's opinion really made me think a bit. I think we both just stated our opinions which aren't the same but that's a forum, right? I may not agree or disagree with you but your opinion is always welcome and respected in my eyes.
  17. a bass' smell is 10,00 times stronger than ours. Same as a dog. The molecules from a scent disperse into the water so the water closest to the source will saturate more. Same thing as putting out a block of frozen chum/blood to attract a shark.
  18. Add stripers and bluefish to the list!
  19. I'd have to see it but it's probably 4,6 or 8 gauge w/ my money on 6
  20. I was a member yrs ago. I used to really look forward to reading the articles, espesially the seasonal stuff but since the net has come along, with sites like this one,..I don't bother anymore. Most mags are just a compilation of ads.
  21. you've echoed all of us!
