The herculiner will work for now but overall will just be a bandaid. My last jon was a lowe that had over 40 bad rivets. I drilled them out and filled the hole w/ a tapered head bolt (from underneath) and a nut on the inside. The tapered head fits into the old hole regardless of it's exact size. I put a dab of 3m 5200 marine adhesive/sealant in each hole first. Never had a problem since.

I snorkeled my lake about 3 years ago,.best thing I ever did.

Iwas wondering if hurricanes are different from any other storm as far as fishing goes. I know "Andrew" or one of those , really messed up old Okie a few yrs back. Now, we all know fishing can be great during a storm but a hurricane? I know, I know, noone is about to go find out in 80mph winds but maybe just before it hits? Are the bite swings as strong as the barometer swings?

yea, but if you fill the bucket w/ 6 inches of water, it's now a crapper too, can you crap in the bag ? I use the bucket primarily in salt water where the boat is bigger and the water much deeper. Just pointing out a money saver but great points.

a bass' smell is 10,00 times stronger than ours. Same as a dog. The molecules from a scent disperse into the water so the water closest to the source will saturate more. Same thing as putting out a block of frozen chum/blood to attract a shark.

Dry rot tires. Easy one. Next time you pull a rotted or old tire off your trailer, keep it. Make sure you give it some terminal damage before storing in your truck. You are about to have a trailer blowout on youir way HOME from fishing. Very important not to say it happened on the way TOfishing because then you could have fixed it and come home. Luckily enough, some friendly redneck named Cletus is going to happen to have a tire at his house that you can borrow to get home. He lives 5,10 or up to 25 miles away depending on how much time you need. DOUBLE BENEFIT- After returning the tire to your newfound friend, you will need to withdraw $50 from the checking account to get another one at your local boating store. This money can now be used to pay for somthing you've been wanting for your boat. Be sure not to get the great idea of getting a spare tire on this trip to the store.
