Looks Awesome, the brown looks great because it makes it look like an old school wooden pram. as for the floors, see how I did mine in the thread about my boat. Yours will be the same with a tiny bit of bracing needed to make up for the "V" shape. Gives you quiet, flat floors and keeps your stuff up off the floor while keeping the center of gravity low.

There are fish much larger than 10 in the Res, I'm saying that the particular one submitted for the record wasn't one of them.

I agree that the LM record will fall again, it was only a few yrs ago that it went from 10.2 to 10.6. Each year there are more and more swimbaiters out there also. Bigger fish are being caught with consistency. There are people like Paul who are out there specifically to find that fish. Guess what,...he's got company, count me in! I say there's a very good chance a record will be broken and a good chance it will be done by a BassResourcer As for the insinuation that it came from the Res,....It was caught by an old guy fishing meal worms in a trout pond that noone else would ever bother to fish. It was caught on opening day, a week these fish are surely conditioned to expect fresh trout to start pouring into their living rooms. Sounds like the perfect place/time to bag the overlooked DD that has owned it's own trout pond for the last few yrs. You know where we need to be on opening day Tin....we've discussed it for these very reasons. We need to commit to it this yr. Maybe get a push pole to get in the back?

Guy that was with me got a 3lber about 5 min after we got there.. went into a cove and got this one.. My first MS slammer fish. She was about 3lbs. After this no other bites the rest of the day.. was quite weird.. First slammer fish, right on man!!

I like these colors for when I need to see the bait, like when fishing a fluke in 1-3 ft, etc. I just like to see the bait so when I see it disappear, I set,....1 step ahead. I usually go with white.

But the food and the fishing are separate,...DON'T EAT THE BLUEFISH!

There are 2 ways to positively ID the specie. 1. Mandibular pores. these are the pores on the bottom of the jaw (on the ventral margin) Small holes that look like dots. Musky-6 or more per side Pike- 5 per side Pickerel- 4 per side PIKE MUSKY The second way is by the scales on the gill plate. Musky-top 1/2 of cheek, top 1/2 of gill plate Pike- Full cheek and top 1/2 of gill plate Pickerel- fully scaled cheek and gill plate

I need to come up with something to make fish tails for my home made slammer type baits. I want my tails to be a bit different than the slammer ones so I'm looking for my own mold. Does anyone know of an existing, purchase-able mold of a fish tail? Would it be possible for me to make my own? (Stratosdadri is all set up for pouring so I can use his pouring room but would need my own mold) Thanks
