  1. Only 1 at a time? You're on the wrong coast Amigo. Blues when they get bait right up on the beach, this can last for hours in the right cove. When the bait finds a way to get offshore a bit, the Blues step into action to ball them up again. It can get very loud. FYI- a Bluefish can take your finger off in a flash,do not wade for these fish when this close
  2. Jeez, I probably have accounts at 20-30 forums by now. They are such an awesome resource. Nowadays, there is a forum for just about anything you want to learn more about. I use forums for things like Health issues- Headaches depression (for a friend) Hobbies- fishing audio boating tacklemaking aquariums pets horticulture Auto- Audio installation model specific forums (right now I belong to 4runner.com it was a VW one b4 that) off roading racing exotics Sports fantasy favorite teams So I clicked on "5" because frankly, I don't think you can belong to too many.
  3. HEY STRANGER!!! Glad to see your name on the board again Amigo!! Hope you are feeling better and continue to
  4. start with the 9" and ponder the 12" I like the original better personally
  5. Well Bizz, seems your avatar is an appropriate one. I smell mutiny Anyone notice how the depends guys, with their patience, knowledge, experience and wisdom,....are content to sit back quietly and let the kids argue themselves into division. Stay unified old men. Muddy, leave the nurses alone, I don't have the bail money this week
  6. Depends, what do you need done? UPS Driver, Lure builder, clothing retailer, custom car audio installs, CAST For Kids (Pays the soul, not the bills, lol), part time gigilo (weekends only)
  7. One of Dirk's secret weapons, this lure has gotten him quite a few fish. some pretty healthy ones too.
  8. Wow,...meds are kickin' in Tin? ;D Everyone knows that loyalty is the last thing an Italian from Brooklyn would sacrifice. Good luck with that, lol. All you did here was offend Hookem, the one guy on your team with the wit to attack back. We'll gladly take him iff your hands just the same though. On a nicer note though, you are exempt from my comment about getting women,...for obvious reasons if you knew Tin,.....but that's a given, you were born in RI, your talent is inherited. Bizz- I'm glad your tall,.....it gives me more of you to dislike.
  9. You don't smell victory,....Muddy farted. You can keep the churches, we got our own, but we'll take the women off your hands if you ever figure out how to get them. Keep rallying though, we are finding it pretty amusing.
  10. Excellent project. Might I suggest you PM Triton Mike. He's guides on Allatoona I think and will have some input of what may be needed.
  11. :D Excellent news!! Congrats!! :D
  12. Russ Thetonia 41, East Greenwich, RI I fish primarily semi private water in RI but am willing to fish anywhere, any time. I am heavy into swimbaits and pretty much swimbaits only at the moment I have a 12 ft jon, very stable, fishes 2 comfortably. (Elec only) I don't do tournaments but but will participate in fund raisers and "pick up" tourny's between friends Non-smoker but smoking doesn't bother me at all. You can smoke in my truck and in my boat. I usually do 4 hr shifts roughly. I fish ALOT at night once it's warm out I am out of work by 11am during the week (UPS) (yes, I know Mike Wolfenden [get that out of the way now] lol) Available for saltwater also (15' Boston Whaler CC jet- East Greenwich)
  13. This year we have seen a huge growth of members from our area. Much of this comes from CAST For Kids coming to the Northeast and I want to thank all the folks here who have helped spread that word. You are what CAST is all about. Anyway,...I wanted to start a thread where we can all throw up a quick bio, even if it's just your name, where you are from and what you have to offer. I've met some AWESOME guys via the board,...many live close by. I've learned from many and enjoy all the friendships so far so I figured I'd start 1 thread we can all go to when we have an open seat and might want to meet someone new to fish with, so here it is. Please do not reply after you have posted your bio. This thread is not for replies, just "willing to fish" postings. All replies will be deleted, any questions you have for each other should be handled by PM. *Do not post personal phone numbers on the board, again, use the PM function. Please post a pic of yourself also I'll start
  14. I've had 2 followers in 3 weeks. What's wrong with us??? ;D and Welcome Aboard RI Flip
  15. I'll second that. I don't know much about rod building but I've had a few builders check mine out and have all had nothing but high praise for it. All I know is how it fishes and how special it is to me to have come from a BR buddy like flechero. Great job to all involved, enjoy the rods boys
  16. There is also a very common rig used that allows you to add weight AND keep it off the bottom. Look up "drop shot rig" And welcome to the site.
  17. Nice pics Mrs M
  18. Cool, we don't always get the report-back.
  19. Just a suggestion -Turn the gain down on whatever is powering the sub. Running a sub like that is torture on the motor structure. It won't last long. - Turn that box around, so it faces backwards. Then, slide it all the way back so the face of the sub fires directly into the back of your car. You'll need to dampen your license plate. now put the rear seat back up. This will give you a much cleaner, stiffer sound. You'll lose a lot of the muddiness you are currently hearing when you play a song like that one that hits on the same frequency that your box is tuned for.
  20. I think her name was.....Charlotte? Something like that......
  21. What you are looking to do is pretty common http://www.event-planner.com/
