  1. No, you don't. Look at the top menu bar. (except IE6 users- Glenn is on it) This is a whole new site folks, lots and lots of work on Glenn's end. He will be ironing out the bugs as we go so if you could PM me or one of the mods if you have an issue and lets keep Glenn free to work his magic. Please refer all issues to a mod and not Glenn or the board. Thanks folks
  2. Not stepping on my toes, I had one for years. I wouldn't get the 10' jon, I am speaking of the 12. I can also tell your seal hasn't been broken yet (the seal where the top 1/2 meets the bottom 1/2) Ugh,.. Carpeted floor decks are very, very quiet and more comfortable than plastic Much more room in a 12' jon same price range much longer life option to redesign thru the yrs by changing the floor plan. Motor capable Etc. Don't get me wrong, both are just as capable of getting the job done, it's just a personal preference. These are the reasons why I've settled on the 12' jon for all small pond/lake and inshore needs. Just my input
  3. Which fish and how many is just one small part of the equation. It's all about food source. Get legal and then approach the pro's. (The few guys I know won't talk to you if they know you aren't going about it properly) How much $$ do you have to start with is going to be their first question.
  4. Jon's offer much more versatility, room and stability for the same $$ IMO
  5. Except roadtrips... he shows up to half of them a few days late! ;D ;D So if I find great value in a few of the higher priced reels/blanks, would I still qualify as a Low Budget Hooker? Absolutely, especially considering the hours you put into them and the fact that the "building" part is already free. You have no excuse NOT to use the good stuff, value is value
  6. You come pre insulated, how would you know what's warm and what isn't??? Oh goodness, you've been swindled, lol. Wake up man. UA is a 4 way poly. Nothing more uncomfortable. "Other" companies use buffer weaves and such on all 4 way stretch poly because they KNOW that having an air zone between the skin and garment (especially straight poly) is critical. UA is an outer wear that's function is strictly to be a skin tight anti microbial ego fix, lol. Made more for the cheerleaders than the athlete, IMO, the epitome of HYPE. NO value. I agree. ESPECIALLY when we are talking socks. When people wear 2 pair of cotton socks, they only double their problems. My personal favorite for warmth is a worsted wool/silk blend 2 way stretch garment. and thanks for your continuing support Burley.
  7. There are like 6 "about to be" broken laws in this statement, lol. Step back, take a breath and contact local DNR, they'll let you know where to start. Once you've cleared the permits, stocking licenses, etc. Then contact "Pond Boss" as suggested above. PS- Hope you're rich, stock and feed are not cheap
  8. A low Budget Hooker is an angler who looks for the value instead of the hype. When you see the wake baits that are coming, and the price of them compared to the similar ones, you'll understand that with "Low Budget Hookers, you don't need to be rich to get a little action" 8-)
  9. Oh, looky there, I done forgot the link.... www.lowBudgetHookers.com
  10. I'll start.... Low Budget Hookers sweatshirts!!
  11. So,... Lesson #1 is "Lint" has no effect on catching fish? :-/ ;D
  12. There ya go Robert, makes a great stocking stuffer
  13. Nothing, I live in perpetual bliss. Happy holidays everyone
  14. Religeous beliefs aside, I will vouch for the man's integrity. I had one of the 1st run Magnesiums. Well, the 1st run ended up having epoxy issues. It was bubbling and peeling in a few small spots. I wrote to Kistler and was given a phone number. Trey himself answered the phone and explained the issue. He had a replacement on it's way to me that day. He didn't have to wait for me to ship mine back or anything, just put a good one in the mail THAT DAY and asked that I use the tube and return label to return the faulty rod. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you handle yours that sets the example of your character. Now for the bad part. I kicked the new one overboard before I got to cast it
  15. That's adjustable, no? Not sure of how that particular clutch works, but I know the release point on the UPS trucks clutch can be adjusted to catch sooner or later. I'm pushing Santa towards the H&D Falen anyway ;D 880 HP at the rear wheel and 1/2 the weight of the 1001HP Bugatti,.....bring the RAF back, we want another race.......
  16. You mean the eatable ones you liked, that smell like fish? BTW......Check your messages Got Mine!!! Raspberry!!!! Thanks Paul
  17. You promised me a ride in that sled........
  18. I'm sorry man,....nothing personal Matt and your Ford is def not the norm but .....My brother is a Ford guy too and I think you 2 are 2 of the best guys I know, for real, so much so that I've never held your vehicles against you.....
  19. I told Santa if there were any of these left over that I wouldn't hate him for leaving one here at the clubhouse instead of having to haul it all the way back to the Pole, any color, doesn't even have to have a full tank.
  20. Play nice now
  21. If you get the one with a fork in the end, you can make an awesome water balloon launcher With a small attachment on the end, they can be great for passing "things" from boat to boat
  22. I always liked these too but it would be hard for me to spend that kind of $$ on a Ford, considering all the other exotics out there. I know this is no ordinary Ford and the model has an interesting history, but still,....a Ford.
