Very neat little units. Im trying to talk our trainers at work into letting me demo one on my boat this spring.

I sold the President to a coworker, and picked up 3 Daiwa Excelers year before last. So far so good there.

I like the President that I had, other than the handle. It was a very smooth reel. I would consider getting a supreme in the future.

I assume what Ghoti is mentioning is the bait Bobby Lane was referencing too also on his Day on the Lake recently. He mentioned he would be flipping a new bait from Berkeley that will be "awesome".

Ever seen a real live jig in any body of water? I haven't but fish bite them. Throwing a trout swimbait will still get bites too even if trout aren't stocked in that at lake. If a bass sees another fish that looks like it could be a meal, it will take advantage of it.
