I've only had one glitch with them where something was listed as in stock but was back-ordered for all of 2 days. Great company with the customer in mind; hope they don't change other than keeping a larger stock.

Thanks man. That 5 was the biggest I've had hooked on ANY crank let alone the dink slayer. I hate ordering just one of something for this very reason but to keep the peace at home, I keep the bait monkey on a VERY lean diet. I was looking at some of their other baits like the Moonsault. That's a little bit bigger and staying in the Shallow-Medium running like I want to. I love that Ghost Minnow color. Again, Thanks.

Me too. If I had half the hair that guy's got, I'd be in good shape. I dont think the IGFA will recognize it as THE world record but man, what a monster. I honestly don't know what I'd do if that thing came up beside the boat with my hook in it's mouth. There's a good possibility that I'd be shaking so bad that I'd eventually shake the hook out myself. Ditto. I'm stopping by Wally World on the way home tonight to buy a decent net. Lost a 5 lber today near the boat. Bad luck more than misplaying her but if I had that net, I could have boated her. :-/

I, too carry a telescoping pole (12' golf ball retriever) but the lure broke off before I could get to the area of the snag. I know pretty much where it's at but am leary of wading through there to get it. I'll end up just ordering another one and tell the wife they must have filled the order twice. 8-)

I ordered one last week and finally got to use mine today (ghost minnow color), and was VERY impressed with the balance of this bait. Started off cranking along a break between 4-6 feet of water and hooked into a nice fish in the 5-6 lb range. Played the fish good, keeping the rod down in the water but it still managed to jump and got off. Several casts later lost it on a submerged snag. At $15.00 a piece, I almost went swimming after it (5-6ft of water). I may go back tomorrow with a rope and grappling hook to see if I can get that snag up.

Cornhole washers? Can't wait to see the responses there. Washers is a great game. I enjoy it much more than horseshoes and when comsuming adult beverages, there's less chance of injury.

My wife insists that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women - she loved to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Wal-Mart: Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras. 1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking. 2 . July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals. 3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom. 4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.' 5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway. 6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department. 8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' 9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose. 10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were. 11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the 'Mission Impossible' theme. 12. We're all just expressing our opinions on why affairs happen and what we do/don't do to avoid them. Some take more drastic measures while others a more hands off (no pun intended) approach. My wife and I are in our 17th year of marriage and are still on our first spouse so we must be doing something right. Also, I can't imagine my wife pointing out women for me to look at Snook. Do you return the favor?

Yeah; just heard they had trouble locating the murder weapon. It was under the female. He had multiple g/s wounds and she had one. Sounds like he was having an affair with a 20 year old who was a little unbalanced after getting a DUI. Maybe he planned on ending the affair and she didn't want the gravy train to stop. Who knows. Kind of bold to have an affair AND cosign (joint owner reported) for a Cadillac Escalade.

Guess you're missing our point(s). There isn't a trust issue with our wives or friends. We just have different boundaries/values. If you avoid situations where you're alone/one on one with women you'll never be tested and more to our point, no one HAS to trust you. Comprende? It's about putting your mate at ease and ELIMINATING any questions. Would your wife be okay if one of her friends stopped by and had a drink with you while she waited for your wife to get home? Would you be okay if one of your friends stopped by to borrow a tool and had a couple beers with your wife while you're at work? Probably not. Does that mean you don't trust them? No; it's just inappropriate. Respect your spouse by not giving them ANY reason to doubt you. And as far as blowing friends off because you got married..........well you chose her above all others so she comes first. If you're not willing to put her first, maybe you should have married one of them friends.

I don't like using them, especially on lures with a specific action like crankbaits. Not sure that they will wobble as intended with a snap or swivel.

Anyone else wondering what that wound down the left side of the fish is? Any chance that's a hook mark? If it's verified the fish's weight is correct and it was caught legally, congrats to the angler. That thing is a pig.

I've used Rapidshare for a lot of stuff. Once you download something, scan it and if it's a zip file or rar file unpack it and scan it again. As far as MP3s go, beemp3.com has been a good site.

Maybe back in school, but there's no more just my friends. we both are friends together with friends, we don't have our own friends anymore. If I or my wife had a friend that didn't care for one of us then they no longer was our friend. Its a marrige now. you gotta get along with me and the wife since we decided to be mates for life I laugh at this, if someone thinks-Hey honey, I'm going over to Julie's tonight to watch a movie ;D is a proper marriage, then it must be a different generation I'm not in tune with :I've always believed your wife should be your only female friend to hangout with I think thats crap if your gonna go hangout with another woman instead of your wife???? WELL PUT!!!!! My wife is my best friend and my only true female friend. There are ladies I work with or go to church with that I'm friendly with but am I going to be hanging out with them? Hell no. What's the point? If I want female companionship, I'll hang out with my wife. As grimlin pointed out, control is the key. However, wouldn't you agree that you can't shoot yourself in the foot if you leave that gun alone? Don't put yourself in a position to MAKE a bad decision. All the opposite sex companionship is there waiting for you at home. If they're not enough for you, perhaps you need to rekindle the friendship or seek counselling. No offense intended to anyone.

I bet it has more to do with your expectation level. You probably went out expecting NOTHING and just swung like your muscles knew how. You eliminated the longest four inches in the game to overcome: between your ears. I've played twice in the last 2.5 years. First round after 18 months off: 83. Second round a year later: 90. Went out with zero expectations and didn't try any HERO shots. Played to miss a little and came out decent. Congrats.........

Happy 4th to all and especially to those protecting us in one form or fashion. I went to Stone Mountain Park last night (gotta work today) for the Laser/Fireworks; nice show this year. VERY cool being really close to the fireworks.
