break in...
Guaranteed: No repeat offenders and NO taxpayers dollars wasted. While the perp surely has family that will be saddened, at least the victim's family in this story won't be. Sorry to hear that news Koopa. Hope the cops get your stuff back.

Officially my last few days as a bachelor....
Congrats man. Spoil her and show her attention or someone else will.

Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot
First and foremost, get a membership to Consumer Reports and research those vehicles. That should weed out some. Next, I would try Googling for all those vehicles and try to find which one has the most complaints and/or technical issues. Whatever vehicle survives, then it's a matter of personal preference and what deal you get.

Budget friendly cranks?
At about $4.20 a piece, Bandit 100/200 are pretty good deals. I jumped on the BPS deal on LC Rick Clunn SR 1.5 & 2.5 for under $10 a piece. They're now back up to $16.00 Fantastic bait but too pricey to buy all the time.

Question about Pros ???
You know it...... Seriously though, I couldn't tell if you gave me a $100.00 rod and a $500.00 rod. I'm not that into the latest greatest. If I'm in the market to buy a really good rod, I'll do my research on BR and pm some of you guys.

Question about Pros ???
Playing the devil's advocate: Who wouldn't take money and/or equipment from a rod/reel/bait company to peddle their stuff? If there was a negligible difference between Brand X and Brand Y, I'd go with whoever was offering the most equip/$$. I'm sure the Pros can tell the slight difference between those high end rods/reels (with each other, not between the high end ones and the cheap ones) but can most of us? I know I can't. Hell, I doubt I can tell much (if any) difference between an Ugly Stick and a Carrot Stick. Personally, I've yet to buy equipment/lures pushed solely by a Pro but I have purchased equipment/lures solely on opinions by you all. I come here for the straight skinny on equipment & tackle.

What does it weigh? II
Was it the same fish from the other thread. Sure looks it. I'm gonna guess 2lbs 9 oz. Yeah, I changed shirts just to take that photo. Man that one's filthy. Don't you have any clean ones? Okay, I'll guess 2 lbs 5 oz then.

Go Tommy Go!
No doubt. He's struggling a little early but his putting has been awesome this week.

If You had to Keep A Bass to Eat
Yelp start your relationship off with a lie that works every time ;D I guess that did sound bad. I meant that if people's yards DO butt up against that lake, then just buy some fillets from the store. Rather lie than die.

What is the "BIG KAHUNA"?
I just threw up in my mouth. ;D

need opinions on power tools
I have some Craftsman tools and for light-medium stuff its adequate but will struggle with pressure treated wood. If I'm building a deck and thereby saving hundreds in labor, I'd spend the extra $70 and get a premo circular saw that will handle EVERYTHING I throw at it.

What is the "BIG KAHUNA"?
mrlitetackle and fourbizz: thanks for the laugh with the Pulp Fiction exchange. Great movie. ;D FishKiller83: try again. It still says "'Wow. I have to say Glenn, that you took my sane that I have been saying for years, & made me look at it a whole different way.LOL!!" Just sane........

If You had to Keep A Bass to Eat
Does this lake have people's yards next to it? If so, I'd be a little concerned with septic leech field runoffs and/or chemicals from their yard treatments. If you're trying to impress the girl's parents just go to the supermarket and buy some good fillets. Take them over there saying you already cleaned the fish so they wouldn't have to.

Sure Life works
Good for you Burley. 8-)

need opinions on power tools
If you're going cordless and want heavy duty, don't buy Ryobi. I have them and they're great for light/medium work. If you're doing a deck, why are you going with a miter saw instead of a circular saw? I have a Rigid corded circular saw and it's pretty good. My previous one was a Hitachi and it was decent but not great. You can check around for some reconditioned ones and save some $$. Good luck.

I'm giving you $150.00...
;D Send the $150.00 to Catt, fluke, Raul, or one of the other great guys here for lessons on how to catch fish with what you got. Hey, thanks for your input bro. That's the reason I come to this board. For genius comments and knowlege like that. Any chance you might write a book? No problem. I also took the liberty of adding to your 'knowledge'. However, due to my addiction to fishing I have no plans for a book. I'll keep you posted. P.S. Lighten up some. Several us of here joke around whether we know you or not. No offense is ever intended. Please review this thread: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1247852814/0 You sure got me confused man. Let me get this straight. You can post a sarcastic, funny comment in my thread to me, but when I do it back to you, I'm being uncool and need to lighten up? Errrrrrrrrrrrrr, Uhhhhhhhhhhhh........... Not exactly seeing the logic here. In any case, you can trust my feelings are still in tact and I've stopped crying. Although, because of your comments, I'm going to start seeing a psycologist on Monday. ;D It's all good. There are fellas here who take the ribbing very lightly and those who want to throw down. We'll just chalk it up to experience and move on.

What is the "BIG KAHUNA"?
I work rotating ten hour shifts with rotating days off and our schedule has a six day break in it with no vacation time. We refer to it as the big kahuna. I love kahuna.
