Ok I am interested in makeing my own lures/ baits what not. But for the first build I want to try an make everything myself to include the molds. So here it goes I have seen videos of people makeing there own baits out of plaster made molds. Does anyone know or have any input on makeing plaster molds. thanks in advance. memo

WOW I must have been (censored censored censored) all I got was literally 2 lumps of coal, an a bass fishing game for my Wii (the one I never get to play with ) Merry Christmas to all. memo

What I do is get an old spool, or any spool. Attach the end to it an get a drill, run a bolt (make sure you have tension on the spool, I use to 2 nuts to sandwich the spool down), loosen the drag on your spool all the way down, an engage the drill. I do this about one a month depending on how much I have fished or where I have fished, some bodies of water have a dark tint to them an gets in the line, makeing it dirty. also when I want to condition the line. memo

the taller the more stable in my opinion, same goes for with. depending on the price range have you looked on Craiglist, you might find something cheaper, here for example http://www.trackerboats.com/boat/?boat=3129 keep the options, as for limited exp, find a buddy that has a boat an offer to fill his tank in exchange for some hands on practice. this way when you do take the boys out, then all you have to worry about is haveing fun an fishing. memo

Stock up on your fav baits an lures, try different colors. new rod/ reel or like Stasher said get a rod rack, what good are all those lures/ baits if you rods are all messed up. memo

Well I figured that since every one is doing it why not me. I have been a member for a while now (actually 165 according to my profile ) But have been trolling the site for almost a year. My name is Memo, I am 30 years young active duty Marine, Married going on 9 years an two precious kids 8 yr ol Girl , an 5 yr ol boy. Been in the Marines for 12 years deployed a few times to ,,,,,,, pretty much still playing G.I Joe until I can figure out what I want to do when I grow up an get a job. I have been fishing since I could remember, but mostly catfish , nightcrawler, bober an wait...... Bass fishing just shy of a year mostly due to every one here, even the Bait Monley :o I want to thank every one here for teaching me so much, from learning different techniques to using a bait caster (muddy) an getting me hooked on some Rage Tails (Ron), an the rest of the folks here, for teaching me everything an then some. Heck I fish so much now that even the Doctors recommend me to do it, something about helping me relax an unwind (he doesn't know what getting Skunked means) Well this goes out to everyone here, thanks for all that you do.
