  2. ok so you want to change baits every hour, but why..... how about this write something down (fishing log) write down the time you used it, wheather conditions, temp, sky conditions, what bait did you use, how did you use it, where did you use it (open water, structure, cover ) what did you catch. once you have all this done, before long you will have crated a pattern of what baits youhave the most success with an what times, as well as everything else that ties into catching fish, or just fishing but then again like sam says: Posted by: Sam And do yourself a favor and read, read and read some more the topics at the top of the page. Great information and you will be throwing all types of baits and using different techniques very fast. we where all there young an eager, luckily we have Bass Resource memo

  5. are you looking for a more perm. fixture or something that you can carry with you. If you are looking for a perm. fixture then an "inbox" rack that you see ontop of desk/ offices etc. lust lay them down screw,glue,tape,nail,weld in the rod locker an just simply slide your tackle boxes in the slot. talk about low budget huh. memo

Funny thing happen to me yesterday, I was at work practiseing "pitching" when my Commanding officer ask me a bunch of questions... long story short he wanted to know if I fish for or in Millitary tournements. I have seen a few of these in different waters aroud Quantico Va. of course you just have to watch out for bigger lakes an speeding boats, but other than that you mentioned that it was going to be for small ponds why not, although check out craiglist. Just might find a similar one or a cheap jon boat. memo

  16. Way to go, nothing like haveing a good outing with a new techinque. I guess you can catch catfish on jigs as well. that is a catfish right ? I remember when I caught my first bass on a jig, I was learning how to use a baitcaster as well. small birdnest an while i was trying to untangle wham, fish on.

    have you tried the Rage Tail toad. I like the way it creates a comation as you rerive it, Just like a buzz bait. except without the hangups on weeds/grass. memo

I was windering if someone could post a sticky/thread on the basics step on makeing, some cranks, jigs, spiner baits etc etc. I have gon ean read just about all the threads on makeing rods (Flechero you da man) an swim baits. As cabin fever roll saround I want to try an make some baits myself. can you include places where to buy raw materials an step by step on how to make some of the baits that I have seen here. thanks memo
  21. Depending where the wind is blowing i would go with it. If the wind is pushing up then the bait fish will get moved, an vice versa for it blowing down. I have never been on the lake before but I would defenitely try getting both ends if time permits. hope this helps any. let us know how you made out. memo

  24. what about useing the idea that LBH mentioned but with bigger tires like turf tires from a wheel barrow or something wider. I noticed that you have lots of sand an what not, but even a launch dolly of sorts might just be the ticket memo
  25. what all materials goes into makeing spinnerbaits like yours. As far as where do you get the raw materials an so forth. I would like to get into makeing some myself. thanks in advance for any an all info. memo
