  1. It's not luck, it's employing a methodical approach to locating and catching lunker bass during spring. Here's how:
  2. Yup, it's always drawn out that way. Lot's of giveaways and "tributes"....It's mostly designed to get cutaway footage of cheering crowds so they can edit that in for the ESPN show.
  3. Just posted today: https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/ned-rig-outfit.html How timely.
  4. Here's what equipment I use, when I use it, and how I use it:

  11. You do not need a stamp. Like I said above, and then you confirmed, your Cali license covers everything you need. You could go all the way to Laughlin, if you know how to navigate the waters. But there's plenty to fish without going too far up river. Really you don't even need to go up river at all.
  12. California/Arizona have reciprocal agreements for Havasu. You may fish it as if it were all in California, since you have California licenses. However, you probably need to have your boat inspected upon return, in order to avoid invasive contamination in Cali lakes. (ya I know, the Delta is already contaminated)
  13. ^^ Yup, this. ^^ Line twist with spinning reels is preventable. Here's a video I made years ago that goes into detail about this:
  14. There's a ton of RV "campgrounds/resorts" there. Some have their own boat launch. I also understand the Quality Inn is boat friendly (they have a large, spacious parking lot), but you should call them first to see if they have hookups. You can also call Bass Master Tackle, the local tackleshop. They've been there for decades, and can give you the skinny. basstacklemaster.com And finally, you MUST eat at Azul Agave at least once. Awesome place.
  15. Here are my five most productive Spring bass lures that will help catch fish at all depths this time of year.
  16. Kit getting it done on a nice Lake El Salto monster that he caught on his Okuma Citrix 724 travel rod matched up with a Helios TCS baitcast reel. https://okumafishingusa.com/
  17. I'm a fan of the Plano Z-Series Backpack https://amzn.to/2MXrLaJ For larger, clam-shell plastics, I put them in a 1-gallon ziplock and put them in the backpack, although this backpack has storage compartments that work as well.
  18. There’s always room in your tackle box for a great set of pliers! Check out this fantastic deal on our KastKing Cutthroat Pliers! Take 15% off- no code needed! Click the Amazon coupon! Shop here: https://amzn.to/2QXbFPT
  19. If I'm not mistaken, they launched at Pickwick state park, which is right next to the dam. So it's not like he moved towards the dam. He was already there. I might be wrong on the launch site though.

Ok ... the whole "The world is ending" dialog is not helping the situation, and is irresponsible from a professional medical POV. I'm going to end this thread, because causing panic is NOT appropriate.

And now several in Washington. Some of them haven't traveled anywhere. They're saying on the news the symptoms are basically a mild cold accompanied by a fever. The fever is the key difference. Agreed. But the conspiracy theorists love to conjure up garbage.
  22. Great looking site!
