What gear/tackle do you prefer?
No Tom. I'm not going to get super granular on this, as the choices would be endless.

Curious to see how you would answer these questions...

Warning About 5x3 Fishing Apparel
According to the article, the "apology" is yet another stall tactic. I appears they don't have any inventory, won't get any inventory, yet are still taking orders.

Warning About 5x3 Fishing Apparel
I was rooting for these guys when they started, but it seems they've derailed. The BBB has issued a formal warning telling consumers to avoid doing business with 5x3. https://www.fox10tv.com/news/daily_dot_com/bbb-warning-complaints-about-alabama-online-retailer/article_b6d5900c-cf71-11e9-b576-efccf2fd8fae.html

Bye Bye Fluoro
That can also be said of all lines. IMHO, braid has limited uses, but is very well suited for them (e.g. flipping, pitching, frogging). But that's the same with all lines. Some are better suited than others for specific tasks. There really is no one-size-fits-all line. But the closest all-purpose line would be co-polymer or perhaps mono. But again, there are limitations in those as well. It's really about matching the right tool (line) to the right situation, rather than using a "favorite" line, or forcing one type of line to do everything. Personally, I don't use leaders. Trying to make two completely different types of lines work together is simply a series of compromises where the outcome isn't as good as using the proper line for the task in the first place. Again, that's just me.

My experience has been the same as everyone else. It "breaks in", if you will, and then it's really nice and smooth.

Anyone go leaderless?
^^ This ^^ After decades of bass fishing, I haven't yet found a reason to use leader. But I've found reasons NOT to use leaders, this being the main one.

PRADCO buys War Eagle
So, just be crystal clear, please do not mention politicians' names or political policies, as those are considered "political" by nature. As a reminder, all things political are strictly forbidden on these forums. Thanks in advance!

Anyone Superstitious?
I've heard many theories on this, but the one that seems the most plausible, is about shipping in the 1800's. Ships would bring bananas from the tropics to America. Often those bananas had poisonous spiders hidden in the bunches which, in turn, would kill several of the deckhands before they could reach port. Soon it became "legend" that bananas on boats were "bad luck". I'm not sure how accurate that is - or true - but it seems plausible.

Entire Thread Missing?
If memory serves me right, that thread was one of several last year that had data corruption issues, and could not be recovered. Apologies for the inconvenience.

A Great Little Tube Bait Trick! Video
Yup, great hook. I use it for a variety of finesse baits and tactics, like splitshot rigs! I use a standard football head jig. Like a Gamakatsu football head jig. Why do you ask?

Bass Resource Logo Interferes With Loggin In
Or...OR, simply whitelist BassResource on your software that blocks ads. How hard is that? Asking for a friend. I mean, geeze guys. It's a free site, and the ads don't interfere with your browsing. I make it a point to ensure there are no auto-play videos, pop ups, or animated ads. So there's absolutely no reason to block the ads here.

A Great Little Tube Bait Trick! Video
The point of the video, as mentioned in the beginning, is to re-purpose specialty tackle so that you can do more with them. Thus, expanding the usefulness of a dropshot weight.

Daimien's Hurricane Projection
It's also happened to Sam a few times in this thread, but he didn't assume he was being censored. Again, I know it's a hassle, so I appreciate your patience.

Daimien's Hurricane Projection
There's a software glitch that randomly hides posts until they are "approved" by a moderator. It has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the post, or who is posting. It's so frustrating to track down the cause of the bug!
