Big Columbia shirt fan here. I often fish in 90+ degree heat in the summer, and these are the most comfortable for me. Specifically the PFG button up shirts, not the performance T-shirts. Those are too tight for me. I haven't tried Heybo shirts yet, but they seem to be an up-and-comer worth checking out. I have the Simms Tri-Comp shirt. It's a little heavier than the Columbia with a tighter fit in the forearms. I think they're great below 85 degrees. Huk doesn't keep me as cool as the Columbia PFG shirts.

So....apparently some pathetic poor individual with low self-esteem has started what I can only describe as a "stupid" rumor that BassResource had - then deleted - articles about Mike Long on the website. I just want to let y'all know that we NEVER, EVER had any articles about him on the site. Never. Hence, there's nothing to delete. The rumor is not only baseless, but is 100% fabrication. Not even a sliver of truth to it. A pure fairy tale that thankfully, only a few mindless sheep would believe. Just wanted to set the record straight so the jackasses creating fake news about BassResource can move on and make up some lies about some other site. Thanks, and have a nice day!

Definitely get the Rustrictor boxes. I have them, and they work great. I was concerned they might have an odor that would repel fish, but I can't smell anything. The added bonus is that you can put them in your rod locker, and they'll protect your reels too. These are my actual boxes. I took this picture:

I'm very impressed with Seaguar Rippin' mono. Easy casting, low memory, great knot strength. Everything you'd expect from a good mono.
