I've been informed the network moved the show to the week of March 19th, not February 19th as previously noted. Yup, yours truly is going to be on the Hank Parker show. I can't guarantee it'll be a good show though, LOL! I've been a huge fan of Hank's since the late 80's. Fishing on his show has been a goal of mine for decades. I'm so thrilled it finally happened! I kinda geeked out on a big fish though. Fishing was slow, we were struggling. So I asked Hank if he had his Hank Parker spinnerbaits on board. He did, so I tied one on. I was thinking to myself, "How cool would it be to make the call, and catch a big fish on his spinnerbait while fishing with him?" And then... it happened. Check your local listings the week of March 19th for "Bama Bass Fishing" episode. Outdoor Channel Wednesday 3/21 – 9:30 a.m. Friday 3/23 – 12:00 p.m. Saturday 3/24 – 3:30 a.m and 11:00 a.m. (All times listed are EST)

Low- to mid-50's here, but with relentless rain. Flood warnings are in effect. Typical Northwest weather this time of year. The nearby mountains (cascades) have the highest snow pack in all North America due to the never-ending precipitation. 93" of snow in 10 days. The dark, gray, wet days are getting very, very old.

The growth rates listed are misleading, but I think it's designed to spark conversation. To that end, mission accomplished. Those values are higher than only 10% of the fish across their range (i.e., slow growth). I have an Assassin, and have tried to abuse it since there's a minority of nay-sayers out there who think it won't. I beat the heck out of it, flipping and pitching into heavy cover and wrenching big fish out it. I used it on every outing last year. It took it and kept coming back for more; even with the drag locked all the way down. With over 16lbs of drag, you really don't need to do that, but I wanted to see if the washers would warp. They didn't.
