  1. I just don't engage. Those people are entrenched in their misguided beliefs and are only focused on forcing people to change to their ways. They'll never listen to reason. So I just ignore them, or at most, say "Oh, so you hate me? I'm ok with that." and walk away, leaving them speechless. Like I always say, you're welcome to believe whatever you want. However you can't force your beliefs on others.
  2. Oh man. I'm so sorry.

Pre-cut dividers One-handed latch Rustrictor The New Plano Stowaways give you the best for your tackle storage!! Take a look! --> https://bit.ly/4jvvJFa
  4. You make it sound like the "scare tactic" has been harmless. Perhaps that wasn't your intent, because it's caused a great deal of economic harm already. Conversations at ICAST were dominated by companies pulling back on spending across the board until "things become clearer". This is happening across every vertical and sector in American business right now. When major companies aren't spending money, everyone loses.

  6. I don't have any issues using FC. But then again, I use Seaguar InvizX, Tatsu, and R18. Those are premium lines (especially the R18) that are priced accordingly. But Seaguar invented fluorocarbon fishing line. They own the patent, plus they make their own line - from resin to packaging, they have full quality control over the entire manufacturing process. That's why I trust it so much, and that's why I don't have any issues with it.
  7. It’s the dog days of summer and pro angler Wes Logan is dialed in on submerged grass like hydrilla, milfoil, and coontail—and he’s sharing how YOU can cash in. Whether you’re flipping heavy mats or dragging worms through offshore clumps, this breakdown delivers the baits, techniques, and mindset that catch giants in hot weather.
  8. In your "analysis", you left out how many fish were caught per period. However, the information I quoted above is unassailable evidence that anglers who use FFS catch more fish than those who do not. Ergo, yes, it has ruined the "sport" of bass fishing.
  9. Maybe read the post directly above yours.
  10. It's a myth thermoclines only set up in deep water. They can be as shallow as 5 feet. Hank Parker agrees: And he says it again here: https://www.bassresource.com/hank-parker-fishing/hot-summer-fishing-dog-days.html
  11. Ok, cool. I thought they were all made in Japan, but they're not. They're a Japanese company with a factory in Japan and the owner/CEO (and his family) lives right next to it. I've been in his house when I had lunch with him and his family. Easy to understand why I was under the impression it's all Japanese-made. Good to know.
  12. Gamakatsu is 100% Japanese made. *Edit* MOST are made in Japan, some are made in Thailand too.
  13. It’s hot, the sun is blazing, and the temptation to stay indoors is real—but guess what? The bass are biting! If you prepare right and use the right tactics, you can have an epic summer fishing day!
  14. Ya know....just reading the title of this thread....it sounds like something you'd do while trying to go to sleep. 1 bass.....2 bass....3 bass.....
  15. Well, I don't think it shoots HD, so yes, it's 4K. I checked, and the 6 is coming out in the next month or so. I'm in. I'm getting 5 of them.
  16. I check and sharpen all my new hooks, right out of the package. Then I continually check and re-sharpen as I use them. I can sharpen them so sharp, not only will they dig into my fingernails, they can poke a hole them. Here's how I do it and what sharpener I use:
  17. and that's all 4K? 4 hours? Woa.
  18. Heh Heh
  19. PFAS are already being regulated at the state and federal levels. Some states already prohibit or restrict the sale of any new products containing PFAS, so if companies don't want to lose market share, they need to adjust. While not illegal (yet), many manufacturers are moving away from using PFAS in anticipation they will be illegal at some point. The FDA has worked with manufacturers to phase out PFAS in food packaging, specifically grease-proofing materials. The EPA has finalized a rule to prevent the manufacture or processing of 329 inactive PFAS. They have also issued the first-ever national, legally enforceable drinking water standard for six PFAS. The US House of Representatives introduced a bill to phase out all non-essential uses of PFAS within ten years. It's a start. Positive moves in the right direction.
  20. Riprap from the bank? I would ensure I have a spinnerbait, topwater, and weightless Senko (t-rigged or wacky). Dropshot? That's a risky deal. Island Bass has the best solution, but still be prepared for breakoffs. Also, the notion riprap is just a straight, featureless bank is a myth. Changes in contour, bottom composition, weeds, culverts, and depth make for a very dynamic bank. Here's a video that goes into detail about finding and fishing those features:
  21. I'd use a clicker, but I'd break it from clicking too much!
  22. From what you're describing, 15lb InvizX will perform very well for you. It's an all-purpose line that will handle all but the thickest of cover. It's been my go-to line for over a decade.
