  1. You are never expected to break off. While not required, it's just common courtesy and good sportsmanship for the boater to give you an opportunity to unsnag your lure and vice versa. Any angler, front or back seat, tournament or not, that doesn't do that is just a jerk and gives the sport a black eye.
  2. Strike King has a whole lineup of Elaztech baits. But they don't have an army of pro-staffers swarming social media and these forums. So you don't hear about them as much.

  5. The Suzuki Stealth Series doesn’t just run—it hunts. 🖤 With its sleek matte black finish, whisper-quiet power, and drive-by-wire precision, this outboard is made to strike without warning. From slow stalks through skinny water to full-throttle runs across open lakes, Stealth Mode is always engaged. ⚙️ Matte Black Finish ⚙️ Drive-by-Wire Precision Control ⚙️ Suzuki Selective Rotation ⚙️ Lean Burn Fuel Control for insane efficiency If your motor doesn’t scare the fish… is it even trying?
  6. @bulldog1935 is on target. Manually flip the bail and get some tension before reeling. In addition, the spool likely has too much line on it. Peel off 10-20 yards and cut it off. The manual technique is show in detail here:
  7. I just dropped a massive guide on crushing it with crankbaits in September, so here’s the full breakdown in a tight, tactical format.

I've been to the 9/11 memorial in NYC and the Pearl Harbor memorial in O'Ahu. Both were life-changing. Visiting ground zero, seeing the artifacts, and watching the videos is an unforgettable experience. I recommend that everyone do that.
  16. Well, they just announced half the 2026 opens prohibit FFS.
  17. Ok, let's move away from the "they're watching us!!!!!" tangent. It's dangerously close to the political line, and we've crossed that recently....several times. So I'm enacting stricter enforcement. Let's get back to the main topic please.

I'm not saying you CAN'T EVER use it. Just don't use it ALL THE TIME, especially if you're replying directly to the last post. Your reply will appear directly below it, so there's no need to quote it. It's fine to use it in many cases, such as: Quoting somebody further up the thread when you're addressing what they said. Answering a specific question Commenting on somebody's specific comment within an entire post There's more, but hopefully this helps.

  20. I saw this at ICAST. I was underwhelmed. The more I talked to them and the more questions I asked, the more buggy and inaccurate it became. Seems there was always a caveat at every corner.
