Brain surgery again...

Featured Replies

Well just over 10 years ago I had my first surgery with a brain tumor and in April 2025 I had another brain surgery. I've been feeling pretty good and finished several months of speech therapy. I'm feeling good that I've been able to get out to the lake and catching some fish again.

Good for you SW. That must be pretty scary to deal with.

Wow, here's to your full recovery!

Outstanding! Nice work on the rehab.  Keep it up!  We will all be praying for you to recover completely and stay strong along the way.

Congrats on your recovery. I have a similar scar from a craniotomy I had in 2005 after a fall from 15’.

It’s amazing how they can open you up, fix your brain, and it rewires itself (mostly).

Keep at it.

Glad your recovery is going well. I'd have to come up with a crazy story for that scar. Like why not to swim around moving boats.😀

My mother had a brain tumor removed about 25 years ago.  She said her head looked like a baseball afterwards.  I'm no x-ray tech but the black areas and white areas dont look right. Good luck with your recovery.

Congratulations.  That's a tough, long road.  You have my admiration.

Here's wishing you continued recovery, and may you never have another surgery again.

Tell 'em you got it in a bar fight, and that they should see the other guy.
