ShArPnEsS - The Truth About Hooks
Ok, cool. I thought they were all made in Japan, but they're not. They're a Japanese company with a factory in Japan and the owner/CEO (and his family) lives right next to it. I've been in his house when I had lunch with him and his family. Easy to understand why I was under the impression it's all Japanese-made. Good to know.

- I'm off GoPro.
Well, I don't think it shoots HD, so yes, it's 4K. I checked, and the 6 is coming out in the next month or so. I'm in. I'm getting 5 of them.- When and why to use Rat'L Traps Vs other crankbaits.
Ok, here ya go!- ShArPnEsS - The Truth About Hooks
I check and sharpen all my new hooks, right out of the package. Then I continually check and re-sharpen as I use them. I can sharpen them so sharp, not only will they dig into my fingernails, they can poke a hole them. Here's how I do it and what sharpener I use:- I'm off GoPro.
and that's all 4K? 4 hours? Woa.- I'm off GoPro.
- What Is In The Water? Is It Safe? Experts Say Not Any More...
PFAS are already being regulated at the state and federal levels. Some states already prohibit or restrict the sale of any new products containing PFAS, so if companies don't want to lose market share, they need to adjust. While not illegal (yet), many manufacturers are moving away from using PFAS in anticipation they will be illegal at some point. The FDA has worked with manufacturers to phase out PFAS in food packaging, specifically grease-proofing materials. The EPA has finalized a rule to prevent the manufacture or processing of 329 inactive PFAS. They have also issued the first-ever national, legally enforceable drinking water standard for six PFAS. The US House of Representatives introduced a bill to phase out all non-essential uses of PFAS within ten years. It's a start. Positive moves in the right direction.- Advice for fishing riprap from the bank
Riprap from the bank? I would ensure I have a spinnerbait, topwater, and weightless Senko (t-rigged or wacky). Dropshot? That's a risky deal. Island Bass has the best solution, but still be prepared for breakoffs. Also, the notion riprap is just a straight, featureless bank is a myth. Changes in contour, bottom composition, weeds, culverts, and depth make for a very dynamic bank. Here's a video that goes into detail about finding and fishing those features:- Counting bass
I'd use a clicker, but I'd break it from clicking too much!- Can’t decide between braid and flourocarbon
From what you're describing, 15lb InvizX will perform very well for you. It's an all-purpose line that will handle all but the thickest of cover. It's been my go-to line for over a decade.- I HAVE IT NARROWED DOWN TO 3 BOATS NEED SOME HELP.

- New Article! August Baits!
Beat the summer heat and catch more bass with these proven August lures. Discover the top crankbaits, soft plastics, and topwaters pros rely on when the bite gets hot. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/august-fishing-baits.html- Clear wire spinnerbait
Oh wow, this brings back bad memories! About 15 years ago (maybe 20), I was approached by a company that wanted to advertise their spinnerbaits. They had the same design with the clear plastic parts instead of wires (not the company you found - they're no longer in business). I said I wanted to try their baits before I would decide whether or not to accept them as a partner. They were crap. I mean terrible. The arms bent SO much during the retrieve that the blades smacked the hook, making it nearly impossible to get a good retrieve. On top of that, the vibration was non-existent. I mean zero vibration. I politely declined.- I'm off GoPro.
So is the battery life less than advertised?- Question about putting leaders on lines.
Leaders are completely optional for bass fishing. It's a personal preference, not a requirement.- Suzuki Stealth Outboard

Dude, his post was about today's price, which is much higher than the price quoted 11 years ago earlier in the thread. So my remark was about WHY the cost is higher now. That's it man. Quit trying to make it into something it isn't.- Secondary Conditions Importance: UV Light, Barametric Pressure, Lunar, PH, Etc.
Current. That should be one of the primary factors. - I'm off GoPro.
