Most? Ok. I guess I'm in the "minority", because I don't like them at all, and I'm a HUGE spinnerbaiter. I mean, I always throw a spinnerbait at some point with every outing. My favorite spinnerbait is Hank Parker's Classic, which you can still get on his website. An .038 wire it 100% better than a thick titanium wire. Yup, it breaks eventually, but to make a comparison: if you don't want a Senko to tear, then throw a stick. Sure it will last forever, but they're not the same.

Leader line is very much optional in bass fishing. Less people use leader than those who do.

btw, I'm not a big College football guy. I like watching sometimes, but the way they rank teams and structure playoffs doesn't seem fair to me. And watching powerhouse teams clobber weak teams to a pulp is a demonstration of poor sportsmanship. But that's a result of the way they rank teams, so...back to point #1.
