Guys, For quite some time, our Flea Market was a thriving swap meet where anglers could buy, sell, and trade gear with confidence. Unfortunately, that success also attracted the wrong kind of attention—scammers, spammers, and others looking to take advantage of our members. As the number of complaints grew, it became clear that action was needed. We discovered that these bad actors often joined the site solely to exploit the Flea Market, without contributing to the community in any meaningful way. To address this, we introduced safeguards designed to discourage that behavior while encouraging genuine participation. These measures require members to become active, regular contributors before gaining access to the Flea Market. (e.g. joining "a long time ago" simply does not meet the criteria.) The results speak for themselves—our Flea Market is once again a trusted, enjoyable space for anglers to connect and trade. These protections will remain in place as long as scammers and con artists exist, ensuring our community stays safe and vibrant. Thank you! Glenn

^^ This^^ I would add Yamamoto #176 Hula Grubs on 3/16th football jigs are a staple this time of year. The face of the dam is good fishing, especially around the visible rocks between the island and the dam. Linde Coulee has both smallmouth and largemouth this time of year. It's hard to make a bad cast there. You don't need to venture back in the dunes right now. Most of the fish are stacked on submerged dunes located anywhere from 50-300 yards from the face of the dunes. Some of them get VERY shallow on top, so keep an eye on your depthfinder. A lot of those dunes have sunken manmade fish structures scattered on them (hint, hint!). There's a big dropoff in front of the mouth of Frenchman's. Fish it. Bass don't hold on it. They move in and out in wolfpacks. So if you're getting bit and then the bite goes away, wait awhile for the next pack to come through. You're going to have some GREAT weather! They like to blame dwindling salmon populations on bass, walleye, and catfish, even though study after study after study (some of them their own) have proven that's not the case. They seem to have a problem wrapping their brain around the concept that catch-n-keep=less populations. So they keep killing salmon and blaming somebody else. Great report!

Well, y'all had me second-guessing myself, so I asked an industry insider who's close to the companies - both Bill Lewis and GSM. I trust him. He said Bill Lewis has been making Rat-L-Traps in China for years - long before the GSM acquisition. So, a distinction without a difference as far as the GSM acquisition goes. They're the same baits they've been making for a long time. I stand corrected tho. I hadn't realized they moved production overseas.

Yes, Bill Lewis co. is alive and well and still making Rat-L-Traps in the USA. The fact they were acquired by GSM didn't change anything. Some eBay sites claim they are now made overseas, but that is more of a ploy to get you buy the "American Made" versions. LOL! Then, of course, the rumors are being spread on social media sites. Shocker, I know.
