  1. @BrianMDTX Yup, a big disappointment. I guess the Mariners want to remain the only MLB team to never make it to the World Series....never to get a Pennant. The sad part is, M's fans already KNOW this is as good as it will get. There's no "Next year" because the M's will trade away all their star players. They're not like the perennial teams that almost always make October. The M's are a 1-and-done kinda team. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
  2. They're not considered a winter bait, although I have caught fish in January on them (in 41 degree water). Here's a download on buzzbait fishing:
  3. Think dropshotting is just for deep water? Think again. In this video, we reveal how to use a dropshot in less than 7 feet of water to catch pressured bass around wood, docks, debris, and heavy vegetation.
  4. No worries! While there isn't a past member by that name (I get it, memories fade), there's probably not one of us that looks back on our past without some amount of embarrassment....except me, of course!
  5. Oh wow! Welcome back home! So glad you came back! What was your original screen name? I can merge it with this account if you'd like.
  6. The speed of impact isn't the point. It's the possibility of avoiding the accident if he had been going slower. That said, clearly he just flat-out wasn't looking where he was going. So it's debatable that going slower would've made a difference.
  7. It's another instant classic! Photo Failure https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/photos-failings.html
  8. I talked to Wes from Rat-L-Trap, and he said it sounds like you're talking about "Spring Bream/Old Way" color.
  9. In the summer, wear sandals when loading. In the colder months, wear boots. I carry them in my boat, and swap them out only when loading the boat.
  10. Geno had the most interceptions last year, and currently he's on track to beat it this year! Yes, he's terrible. He's throwing picks, throwing to nobody, getting sacked, or fumbling the ball. He shouldn't be in the NFL. Pete Carroll's kryptonite is his loyalty to players long after they should have been put to pasture. The Raider's roster is a list of has-beens with just enough rookies and 2nd & 3rd year players to keep them competitive. I expect Pete won't be around much longer.
  11. Well the 'Hawks are doing about as good as expected in a rebuild year, maybe even a little better. I thought they'd be 8-8 but they're already 4-2, so there's hope. The defense looked awful against the Bucs, then rebounded the next week against the Jaguars. And Darnold is looking really good! Separately, I enjoyed watching Penix last night. He's a former UW Husky, so I have to root for the hometown hero.
  12. Elite Series Pro Kyle Welcher shares his go-to approach for catching bass in the fall using the Texas rig. Learn why the Texas rig is one of the most consistent producers during the fall transition and how to adjust your angles, presentations, and color choices in clear or muddy water. From wolfpack cruisers to suspended fish on laydowns, Kyle explains how to milk every cast and convert tough days into big bites.
  13. They have several hunting boots, so I'm not sure which ones you're referring to. I have these, which also come in a camo pattern. I like these because they're warm, comfortable, and have a good tread design.
