  1. I'm not sure why. I'm busy running the site. So I scan through the threads, while resolving issues. Scanning pics is faster and easier than stopping what I'm doing to watch a video. It's about efficiency. Now, to be clear, when I have more time, I can watch, and when I go to YouTube, I'm there to watch videos.
  2. I like when people post pics of their trip. If it's a video, I'm likely to skip it.

  4. Guys, again, there is nothing wrong with this site. There is no "setting" anywhere for video embeds, mods or otherwise. It's a problem with your browser communicating with YouTube. Likely caused by an extension (plugin), changing security permissions from the default settings (like blocking ads), or a cache issue. It's a known browser bug, even documented on GitHub. Google the error code if you don't believe me (obviously, you don't). Since sometimes a video works on one page (either here or another site) and sometimes it doesn't, that points to a cache issue. But since personal configurations vary so much, it's impossible to know for sure. Also, please be sure to use the correct embed link via the "share" function on YouTube, as there are several YouTube URLs for each video, but not all of them embed. Since it is not a problem with Bassresource, I will not address this again. If you altered your browser experience, or won't clear cache/cookies, or use the wrong URLs, that's on you to fix.
  5. While I've been known at times to thoroughly work a spot, I can also kick the trolling motor on 50 and burn the banks when the situation warrants. Limiting yourself to one style is just that: limiting.
  6. Jets GM Mougey traded cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Colts and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys in a pair of trades that brought back a 2026 first-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick, two 2027 first-round picks, wide receiver AD Mitchell, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. The Chargers announced that they have traded cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor to the Jets for a 2028 conditional seventh-round pick. The conditions of that pick were not announced. The Bears traded a 2026 sixth-round pick in exchange for defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka from the Browns. He's a 2021 first-round pick.
  7. Elite Series pro Pat Schlapper shares his proven tube fishing techniques for catching smallmouth bass during the cold winter months. While true winter in northern states means ice fishing, Pat explains how "winter" fishing from late fall into early winter is prime time to catch bass as they group up in deep water.
  8. Don't forget other Hawk players too. JSN is on track to be the first receiver in NFL history to have over 2,000 yards for the season. I honestly thought this was going to be a rebuilding year. Maybe an 8-8 season. But so far, they're looking like serious contenders. It's still too early to be talking post-season. Too many teams peak early and then fall apart towards the finish line. But when you look at their next 6 games....
  9. Milroe? Jalen? Who?? The last quarterback to pull that off? Tom Brady in 2007. Rare. 7-2 record, btw. I don't think anyone had that on their bingo card.
  10. ^^ Good list! ^^ There's only 3 things I would add: 1. Change the water pump impeller and housing every 2 years 2. Check the brake pads for wear 3. Grease the engine zerks

  13. I finally asked AI, since I KNOW FOR CERTAIN it's not a problem with this site. Here's what it said: YouTube's Error 153, often a "video player configuration error," is a widespread issue that frequently occurs with embedded videos and is typically caused by a browser's settings, an extension, or a problem with the referer header. Common solutions include disabling browser extensions, clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or trying a different browser, such as using Incognito or a different browser altogether. For embedded videos, the problem may also be fixed by modifying the embed code to use a "privacy-enhanced mode" or replacing the URL with one that starts with youtube-nocookie.com. Common causes and solutions Browser Extensions or Ad Blockers: These can interfere with the YouTube player by blocking necessary data. Solution: Try disabling extensions like ad blockers, privacy tools, or other browser add-ons. Browser Cache: Corrupted cache files can cause various issues, including this error. Solution: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. You may also need to sign out of YouTube and then sign back in. Referer Header: The error can occur when a browser doesn't send the correct Referer header, which YouTube requires to identify the source of the embedded video. Solution: Using the youtube-nocookie.com embed URL instead of youtube.com can sometimes resolve this, especially for sites that have a default policy against sending referer headers. Browser or Device: The problem might be specific to the browser or device you are using. Solution: Try a different browser or use an Incognito/InPrivate window to see if the issue persists. Page and Video Content: A specific page's layout or a particular video can sometimes trigger this error. Solution: Try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try re-embedding the video or replacing the video block in your content editor. Internet Connection: A poor or unstable internet connection can prevent the video from loading correctly. Solution: Check your internet connection to make sure it is stable and fast enough for streaming.
  14. Cold fronts, hot water, muddy lakes, heavy pressure… sometimes it feels like bass just vanish. But don’t pack it up yet — this video breaks down the three methods that work when nothing else will. Whether you’re bank fishing or on the boat, these tips will keep you catching when others go home skunked.
  15. It took me awhile to find it, but here's a picture of it:
  16. https://youtu.be/NN5sKeba0YA doesn't embed for me either. It's the wrong format. It needs a query string.
  17. Go to the video, and click the "share" button under it. Then click "Copy". The video link is: https://youtu.be/NN5sKeba0YA?si=vj56Fz0zW1q_iDRO I had to paste that "as a link" instead of an embedded video, otherwise it does this automatically: Did ya notice the stuff after "si=" changed from your post? Yours also has "/embed/" in the URL. Yup, that's strictly YouTube garbage. Different URLs for the same video. Some work, some don't.
  18. Hey legit question: If we participated LAST YEAR ONLY (not 6 years ago), do we still need to PM you our info or do you already have that?
  19. I was fishing the back end of a wooded cove with a fellow member @BassnChris on Wilson Lake, and we came upon a shrine/memorial/sacrifice looking thing built in the shallow water. It was straight out of the bayou swamplands. It had a voodoo vibe to it. There was nobody around, and no way to access it other than by boat. We didn't stick around long.
