  1. Man what a great thread to revive! Thank you @Swamp Girl !! I tried to come up with one story to add, but man, there are SO MANY! From fishing with Hank Parker for 3 days, to taking disabled kids fishing, fishing with many pros, all the Bassresource roadtrips (Kentucky lake, Pickwick, Guntersville, Lake Fork, and other bucket list lakes), fishing Lake Toho with my wife on our honeymoon, to fishing out of a SeaDoo on Stickmarsh 13, and MANY others....there's just too many to list! Any time on the water is a good story, no matter what!
  2. Now that's clever!

Glad to hear it! command+enter though? It's better if you use your mouse to click the green button to post or, if you don't like using the mouse, you can use the tab button to highlight the green button, and then click enter. In addition - and I cannot say this enough to everyone - as soon as you think something is wrong with the forums, assume it's something with your system. An outdated browser, anti-virus software, VPN, cache, and a host of other things on your local device.
  4. Let us know how it goes!
  5. The 7-Year Limited Warranty is here until March 31st.
  6. You might want to look into Western Bass Club. They're based in the Auburn/Renton area and area fun group.
  7. Sometimes, when the water is dingy or muddy I'll try rattles to see if that makes a difference.
  8. Winter and jigs are a perfect match — and this video breaks down exactly which jig heads, colors, skirts, trailers, and modifications catch the most bass in cold water. Whether you're fishing rocks, sparse grass, deep structure, or winter weedlines, the right jig setup can make a massive difference.
  9. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. But I misdiagnosed this one initially. Sorry about that guys.
  10. Problem solved. It was the over-sized rectangular ads pushing the dropdown menus to the far right of the screen -- so far out that you couldn't see them unless you scrolled over. For some reason, those ads aren't resizing for smaller screens like they should, so I disabled them for now.
  11. I didn't change a thing, and as I research this, it's looking more and more like a cache issue and/or outdated browser problem. There are so many different combinations of mobile OS/Browsers that I cannot offer assistance. If y'all think you cleared your cache, and are still having problems, you probably have a few more steps to perform, or need to update your browser. I highly recommend searching YouTube and watch a few videos for your particular configuration about fully clearing cache and/or updating your browser as I cannot offer any help.
  12. @Jar11591 Hit Ctrl+R when you're on the page where you click to login, then login. Yep, ads aren't resizing. I know. It's a low priority bug. Thing is, I have a life outside of these forums, so I'm not spending all my time hunting down minor visual/design/layout issues. I'll get to them eventually.
  13. New Article! Rainwater isn’t pure. Discover how precipitation, soil, and runoff determine pond water chemistry and fish health. https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/pond-water-composition.html
  14. I'm looking into it.
  15. Ok, I see what was happening. Because the ads weren't working, the sidebar expanded to a default width. Now that the ads are working again, the sidebar is the correct width.

Oh....we're going to discuss this again. Bottom line: It's a concept. It's not meant to be a realistic or accurate depiction.
  17. This issue is now resolved.
  18. Elite Series pro Cliff Pirch shares his favorite go-to baits for catching bass in cold water. Whether you're fishing clear highland reservoirs or chunk rock points in the South or West, these three tactics will help you dial in bites from October through March.
  19. Man I hate to see Roger's career end that way, but it no way diminishes his career achievements. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the HOF. The Seahawks have lost only 3 games this year by a combined 9 points. Just sayin' 12>49
  20. I'm just going to post what I posted on our social channels in case you didn't see it: We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of legendary professional angler Dion Hibdon. Dion was not only an exceptional competitor, but also a true ambassador for the sport—respected for his talent, sportsmanship, and passion for bass fishing. His impact on the fishing community will be felt for generations. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
  21. I'm not in Florida, but it if I were looking to throw big Fluke-style baits, I'd try the Deps Sakamata Heavy Weight Soft Jerkbait (6" and 7") , Big Bite Baits Jerk Minnow 5" and the Hideup Judy Fish Soft Jerkbait 5.2" baits.
  22. Youtube is arguably the best source for tips and tricks on just about everything. Did you know you can freeze fresh cilantro and parsley? You just pick off what you need as you go, the rest will remain fresh for up to a year. So you don't have to waste a lot of $$ on fresh cilantro and parsley you can't use before it goes bad. Thank you YouTube. ...it's the little things in life that make me grin. That said, yes, it's the bots and fake accounts run by our enemies designed to fan the flames of hatred that have ruined Facebook, Twitter, et al. Just know when you see those extremist comments....they're fake. Here at BassResource, in addition to the elite moderator crew (thank you! And thank you guys for recognizing their efforts!), I've implemented several technical measures to prevent bots, malicious foreign government operatives, spammers, and scammers from accessing these forums. Seems to be working. Thank you all so much for the kind words. BassResource has been a lifelong passion for me, and I’m incredibly grateful that so many of you enjoy it and have found a community here that truly feels like family.
  23. The sponsor panel is exactly the same size as before.
  24. Nah, his team (Bungles) finished 6-11. I've been there. I get it. ...Although ...
  25. 3 of the 4 remaining NFC teams are from the NFC West....the strongest division in the NFL....still. This is lining up to be the same scenario when the Hawks blasted their way onto the world stage and clocked the Broncos in the Superbowl. It was 3 NFC West teams back then too. The REAL championship was the NFC championship between the Hawks and 49'rs, only this time I believe it will be the Hawks and Rams. A big difference, too, is that now everyone knows how strong the Hawks really are. Last time, nobody gave them a chance. Barring any injuries, the team that wins the NFC championship will go on to win the Superbowl.
