  7. Cold weather ends more fishing trips than slow bites. Here’s the winter bass fishing gear that keeps you warm and fishing longer. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/cold-weather-fishing-clothing.html
  8. @Joedodge Given the options you provided: InvizX is your jack-of-all trades, all-purpose line. You can use it for just about anything except heavy cover and topwater, which brings me to.... PowerPro - braid shines in heavy vegetation and techniques like flipping/pitching. It does well around woody cover too, such as flooded bushes. Big Game - mono is best for topwater lures because it floats, plus it has some stretch, which is a good thing for lures with treble hooks (it helps keep fish pinned). The floating characteristic helps with lure presentations. For example, popping baits work better because the line isn't pulling the bait under water. So use InvizX on all of your outfits except dedicated topwater and flipping (jig/worm) setups. Hope that helps!
  9. I have one DC reel, and....it's ok. I don't get the distance I can get on my other reels, mainly because I have most of the braking turned off on those. However it's great casting into a strong wind. As for digital reels, it ain't cool unless it comes with bluetooth....and pairs with FFS....and then casts exactly to the fish shown on FFS. ...wait ...on second thought....that's not so cool.
  10. Congrats on your catch! The splitshot rig rarely fails. As for posting photos, we have a sticky post about that:

Like I always say, "Clear your cache and cookies, then reboot your computer". It's very common to get a corrupt file on your computer. That's why a good cleansing on a regular basis is recommended.
  18. Manufacturing defects happen. That's what the warranty is for, and they honored it. Glad you had a good warranty experience. That can't be said for all brands.
  19. Yep, the NFL thinks it's a west coast only audience...nevermind the Rams/Hawks game had the highest TNF audience on record. But, it's the east coast sports mentality (Cal Raleigh anyone?). SMH
  20. Usually a #5 or #6. You want the bait to helicopter down while staying horizontal. The blade acts like a parachute to slow the fall.
  21. Yep. 1/2 ounce, white, single Colorado blade with a white Zoom split-tail trailer. Vertically drop it along steep banks and ledges, and points that drop off into river channels. You can slow-roll it too.
  22. Learn how to locate and catch cold-water bass with these proven strategies. We’ll cover the best structure to target, how to find feeding windows after warm rains, and why hard bottoms and creek channels hold the most fish. Discover which baits excel in winter and how to work them slowly for lethargic bass.
  23. I have a box of hand-poured soft plastics that I bought from him a few years ago. Western Plastics, Don Iovino, etc. that were made in the 80's and early 90's that are no longer in production. Great finesse baits and Slug-Go knockoffs. I'm a little choked up thinking about fishing them now. I guess it's just new and raw right now. But I'll still fish them in his honor, and thank him for every fish caught.

I should've. Like 40 per day isn't enough?? LOL!!! Naw, but seriously....spammers were using that as a means to up their post count in the hopes of being able to post links to malicious websites. We'd also see some members try to jump to the next member level by liking and reacting to everything. So I'd see 100+ likes by a new member immediately after they joined, or just meaningless "likes" all over the place. We've since eliminated "likes" and reactions counting towards....well...anything. So the incentive is no longer there. So ...have fun!!
