  1. Living in an area with the 2nd or 3rd worst traffic in the U.S. (depending on annual reports), road rage is a daily occurrence. I can tell you that taking the next exit and re-entering the highway is your best bet. He'll think you're gone, and you'll place enough buffer between you and him that you won't have to deal with him anymore.
  2. So....the same people that are responsible for the failure and sudden closure/layoffs are going to open another similar business??

  4. We have plenty of lush green yards due to all the RAIN!!
  5. Get an endoscopy at the same time. You already have an empty stomach and you're there, so.... I know too many people that had no idea they had throat cancer until they had symptoms. By then, the treatments involve surgery. My brother-in-law passed last year due to complications from throat surgery after being diagnosed with throat cancer. A few years ago, I had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with pre-cancerous (Barrett's syndrome). It was cured after getting on a prescription for acid reflux plus a slight diet modification. Far better than surgery! Now I always do both "scopes" at the same time.

  8. Jerkbaits Are HOT — Year-Round. They used to be a spring-only thing. Not anymore. Cold? Hot? Spring, fall, winter? You’re Not Fishing Jerkbaits to Their Full Potential — Until You See This.
  9. The tube is so versatile, you can fish it pretty much anywhere - from flipping heavy cover to finessing in 40' clear water. That means both spinning and baitcasting gear can be used. It just depends on where/how you're fishing it. Here are several ways to fish it:

  14. They should stop showing car commercials showing open roads on sunny days with no traffic; or taking the car 4-wheeling in places you would NEVER take it 4-wheeling. Instead, show the car in bumper-to-bumper traffic, or in the rain, or with somebody tailgating it while the kids are fighting in the back seat. Be real! LOL
  15. The oil! OH the oil!! If you know, you know.

  17. Meh. First world problems. Until....
  18. While I've been fishing in mid-20's air temps - and not just once or twice - I'm now more of a low 40's threshold kinda guy now. These old bones don't tolerate the cold like they used to. LOL Really I'm the opposite now. 85-100 is my preferred air temps. As for ice on the guides, just dunk the rod in the water. Fast, efficient, and no need to apply anything. As mentioned, braid is terrible in freezing temps. Fluoro is better, but it still absorbs water. Mono is best but....it's mono. Remember, the guide on the reel freezes too. Blow on it every few casts to keep the ice off.
  19. Wow, beautiful. A winding, less-traveled road. Fantastic scenery. At 9600 feet!??
  20. 38 points in the first half!
  21. When temps drop, it’s not just about fishing differently — it’s about thinking differently. This video lays out five critical factors to stay safe, stay comfortable, and catch more fish. Don’t skip this — your winter bass fishing depends on it.
  22. Hey Guys, Google Translate can help you out if you don't speak Spanish:
  23. You'd think after decades of drought and water issues, CA (and AZ) would've built more reservoirs to capture that rain. Instead, they get critical drought conditions followed by monsoon rains, resulting in flooding and mudslides....even dam breaches; and then all that precious water just drains into the ocean, only for the cycle to start all over again. I don't want to discuss it here. It's just an observation from the cheap seats.
