  1. Fall is here and the bass are feeding up heavy before winter hits. This video breaks down the TOP 5 baits that are crushing it nationwide right now — and exactly how and where to use them to land more fish.
  2. Still using them, still loving them. Put a ring on it already!
  3. Getting PSA tests is what saved my life, and that of millions of others. So yes, I'd do it all over again! I wouldn't hesitate at all. It's important to understand that a PSA test does NOT test for cancer. In essence, it checks for symptoms the COULD indicate cancer, but there could be many other causes for an elevated PSA result. If you do get elevated results, further testing is required to determine the cause. A 4K test, MRI, and then possibly a biopsy are needed before a diagnosis can be determined (I did all three). Once diagnosed, I had several CT scans plus a PET scan to thoroughly understand the situation and determine next steps. So, a PSA is a basic test, a "check engine" light, if you will, that simply tells you whether further testing is needed. You should never seek any kind of treatment solely based off a PSA test.

  6. Well @WRB-2.0 we can agree to disagree. I've lived through all of those technologies, including electrofishing. But I doubt you'd champion electrofishing as a fair and sportsmanlike technology in the hands of anglers. Like electrofishing, I feel FFS is a fantastic tool in the hands of biologists. There's so much that can be learned through both, but each can be equally destructive in the hands of the public.
  7. He's also the first catcher ever to achieve that status AND win the home run derby! That dude's a stud!

  9. @Ski I'm so glad it worked out for you! Early detection is the key to a cure for sure. And it's just a simple blood test. Glad to hear others are getting checked too! @Don Harris That's an early age....or used to be. I'm hearing more and more guys are getting it in their 30's and 40's, well before the recommended age 50 for testing. Glad you caught yours early enough! As for me, I just passed my 3-year-mark cancer free!
