  1. Hey DMB: Yea they just have the Tourny zxHS forever , they do not usually run them on asle foten.
  2. I really don't care who makes em, I just care if they work
  3. Where we differ, In smaller natural lakes ( Under 1000 acres) with depths of up to 45 ft It is all about the Flat Grassy Beds, hands down. Now a hump on one of these beds will definitely be a good target, but in Natural Lakes herein PA and Upstate NY it is all about the grassy flats.
  4. THAN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!There you go Moby I am storing these in my favorites for future ref. 8-)
  5. Catt: Thaks , I just needed an explanation. I took what you and 4 Bizz were selling and bit by bit I have become a relatively offshore( Where I fish you can still see the shore) and I am pleased how my style is changing. I just didnt put the weather thing together, Thanks now it sank through my thck Italian head!
  6. Man : all these old threads are great. I think sometimes we loose the fact that all this stuff is valid based on regional conditions. I see disimilar results , all working from different parts of the country, there are things that work up north that just ain't gonna work all that well in the south and visa versa My Question: If 90% of the fish are in deeper water most of the time and 10 % are in the shallower water>>>and if only a perecentage of those 90% in deep water are actively feeding, while virtually mopst of the shallow water bass are, why doesnt it even out? Why wouldnt you catch the more active bass at a better rate shallow? I ask this because this year I fished deep, less numbers much better fish, I can't figure out why?
  7. The absolute best spinning reel , for 60 Stinkin Bucks is the Pflueger President,Case Closed~~~~~~~~~ ;D
  8. FROM A REAL BASEBALL FAN: Can you explain how they are going to the playoff if they are not in first place in the Central Division and are 4 games out of the WildCard: Please Explain for those of us who know so little about the game.
  9. Hello and welcome from the Eastern Part of PA
  10. Thanks Matt I do not know how to do a search like that I tried and it is just what Moby is looking for
  11. Thanks Jeff: I found the Extreme to be better than the older Silver Prodigy ( I believe thay are Pinnacle made) , I have not used the new ones that say Manufactured by Diawa. I gave up with all house brand reels and after trying many different products I am back to and staying with Pflueger Trions. Sometimes i don't know when to leave well enough alone BTW I was at Cabelas recently and there seem to be 2 new prodigys, One with the Diawa tag and a newer one that is black and looks like a Pinnacle Product: HAVE YOU SEEN THESE YET? Thanks, It is refreshing to see a review by someone who actually used the reel! Try an Extreme you might be surprised. Dominick
  12. I bought one of these reels the single worst product I ever bought from BPS
  13. PM Matt Fly I am sure he can lead you to his piece, it was very informative and detailed
  14. I stand corrected I had yet to get the newsletter dated 9/1/08 that the city conceded and chaged the starting pay . There was a lot of anymosity ( sorry I have bad grammar and bad spelling :) because the force has been undersatffed since the attrition rate and loss of personel during 9/11/01 and after. This was hard fought , Bloomberg did everythign he could to prevent this. I am sure the Avg,NYC cop sees more action and danger than most, HOW do you think the city got so safe?
  15. Hey Moby: I do not know how to do it but if you can do an on-site search in the General Fishing Forums last year some time MATT FLY and CATT did some excellent posting on this subjest! It was really in detail and very readable.
  16. Word is Burley is half way there with VA Tags!!!!!!!!!
  17. I think the question is off attitude. I have lived in Brooklyn,New Orleans and PA , and the cops in Brooklyn and New Orleans are among the most underpaid and deal wiuth the hardest situations They are rough when they have to be but for the most part are the most pesronable and polite officers I have met. There is a huge difference between making a point and sticking it in someones ear. Rambo cops don't bother me I find them amusing
  18. Hey JF, I have used both products and have found the Extremes to be better casting, never needing to be sent back and easy to lube The cabelas Prodigy: I have had to replace 2 of them because of manufacturer issues ( loose screws etc) and Cabelas just handed me a new one, THE TOURNY ZX and ZXHS, while being cheaper Cabelas products performed way beeter than the Prodigy I like Cabelas the best but when it comes to house brand BC reels, they need to shape up a bit Lrs hear your experiences with these reels, curious if you had similar issues
  19. Setting a standard is way different about bustin somebodys chops and pushing your AUTHORITI around>>> Just ask Cartman from South Park ;D
  20. Way cool, and folks those ribs are the finest in the world! Passin it forward BassResource.com style 8-)
  21. Now there's a real %#$!)Xty attitude for you
  22. I like Cabelas rods, in the price range that I can afford, (under 100) much better than BPS Rods Hands down in this area the BPS EXTREMES are a way better deal, not to mention that BPS can and will service them while Cabelas is somewhat generous about replacing their reels they do not service them and finding some one to is an issue
  23. It is incredible what happens to some guys brains once you pin some tin on their chests!
