The big picture is we are in a global market. The Information age ( aka Computers) has helped this come about more rapidly than expected.For industrialized countries to do business with each other, they need to all figure out what they do best,capitalize on that and specialize in their products, to balance trade with others. Hostilities will get us no where, I should know because I am by nature one Hostile Knucklehead and it impedes me at times. Our record through out history; Cuba and the US FRUIT Company/ South Africa and the Diamond concerns has not been one of benevolence, but we go on and we learn. Dumping what I have will accomplish nothing, but a couple months ago, when my uncle lost his job due to a plant shipping overseas I vowed to buy American products if at all possible, I have done so with the bigger products - trading in my Honda for a Ford. Trading my wifes Toyota for a Ford. Now I'm working on my fishing equipment. I dont mind buying something from Sweden or Finland. I just dont want anything from China or Japan, or Korea. Again, I know its a frutile effort, but I have extra cash laying around, and if I sell all of my current rods and reels I can buy alot of American Made products, and it will give us and the guys "something to talk about" on the fishing outings, comparing American quality to the cheaper China stuff. I'm sure a St Croix rod is going to outpreform a cheap berkley any day of the week. Sorry for such a long post. Sorry about your Uncle, these days have brought many of us hard times. How about comparing a StCroix to a Steetz, Fenwick Elite or a Upper end She man O; thats more like it I can compare a Caddy to a Yugo , and come out right also ;D

One of the beauties of having a team sport played in stadiums that are not standardized Then: The defense is being adjusted WITH EACH PITCH IN THE COUNT, every single pitch brings an adjustment. This is one of the beauties of sitting up in the cheap seats, you can see this so clearly. The defense, especially the pitcher is trying to contain the hitter. If the hitters job is to hit a ball to right field, to move a runner to 3rd let's say, the pitcher tries to take this away from him, by ball control and pitch location. The right fielder is cued to the cutoff man and if he has a strong enough arm, it can really get exciting with a direct throw. If a bunt is in order, then a rotation play is in order and the whole infield is cued for a shift. If the batter gets the right pitch he can still hit away and the whole plan gets smashed The Hitter; Has a job to do, take, bunt, hit away or swing for the fence. He may need an outside pitch, to get the barrel on the ball,with one out and a speedster on first that would be a sacrifice fly, to the outfielder giving the runner the best chance to advance. The pitcher , if he is tough enough and old school, will put him on his butt with a little chin music The next pitch can mean a whole slew of possibilities and the game goes on. Why people want a faster game, so they can get back to work faster, is beyond me Give me a 1 to 0 pitching duel on a warm summer afternoon, and I am in heaven If you do not know the game , you would not have a clue any of this is going on. I didn't go to Woodstock, never regretted it for a moment. I was at the Summer Nationals at Center Mooriches LI: National Speedway then saw the Chambers Brothers in Harlem Later that weekend and played a gig. When I was younger I would rather play a gig than see anyone else play. Not my idea of a good 3 days of music, getting rained on with a half a million smelly stoned people, not my bag! 8-) ps Gotta fess up: I was a stoned person myself in those days

Where did a record come from for FLMB vs NSLMB? : The IFGA only lists LARGE MOUTH BASS, what does AL mean next to Northern Strain Record? Your goal is hat ever you like, IF the biggest bass that live in your area are 8 lbs than 8 lbs is a trophy bass in your waters, do not let anyone else tell you different.
