  8. Hey Fellas; I am not trying to stir things, nor discourage people from buying a reputable sponsors product. It is just my experience with ALL conditioners and I used this one also to see if nay noticeable benefits and have come to the conclusion that for me it is not worth the bother.
  9. I don't cast more than 40 yards at a given target. The amount of memory inherent in the mono I have used for years in no way affects anything in this range. I used it, didn't make a difference one way or the other, so I will not be using any line conditioner, I see no need for them
  10. Gotta love this Cajun! Right on the money. Too bad I didn't hold on to more of my money learning this lesson 8-)
  11. I never put it on the line, saw no benefits . I like it because the propellant seems to help clean gunk off the pawl and knobs, you still have to put a drop of reel oil after you clean the reel with it, I like the fact when the propellant dissipates your reel is left with a thin coating of silicone, my reels have seemed to stay cleaner using this over the last 3 seasons. It does nothing for the inner mechanism of the reel. The reel does feel slicker immediately after use, because the handles, spool and pawl have a thin layer of silicone, but it wears away fast, you still should put a bit of reel oil and or grease as per manufacturer's instructions.
  12. Hey John: We talked about this already. I use it to keep the outside of my reels clean and I never use it on the line. I strip my reels frequently and change line at least every 3 weeks during the season. It is for the reels. As for line conditioner, I have never experienced a "condtion" that my line has that needs anykind of treatment. I tried the KVD, out of curiosity, much ado about nothing, and another way to spend money for no noticible benifits

  17. Typical YANKEE BASHING My choice, if I were making the decision would be Craig Ferguson, but I don't think most of the late night audience gets him.
  18. The only late night guy that had a shot in following the footprints of Steve Allen,Jack Parr and Johnny Carson was David Letterman . For some reason NBC didn't see that and now Conan will soon tank against Letterman and this Fallon guy is about as interesting as watching rug lint.

  24. I am doing a comparison this year. I suspect this may be true for me also, I have to see how this plays out. For now my choice has been EWG, but I noticed , at the end of last year that I was fishing a bit more with the old school worm hooks. I have to see was it because I was using them more, or if compared to EWG, using them both the same if there is a difference in hook ups.
  25. 3/0 EWG on anything under 10 inches' Over 4/0 I carry 3 brands, different Mil Sizes to the wire and different hook weights, when t rigging weightless can alter the drop rate, on some days it can make a difference
