Strike King 3X Chunk
I guessed I narrowed it down to the peca chunk. Thanks for he help.

Strike King 3X Chunk
Which do you guys prefer? Peca Craw Trailer or Rage Tail. I heard a lot about both being good, but peca = $2pack, 3" and rage tail = $5pack, 2.5"

Strike King 3X Chunk
I was planning to get some of these trailers for my jigs, but I am not sure if I should get the full size or the jr. size. I will be throwing 1/4, 3/8 mostly, maybe 1/2 when fishing deeper or heavier current. Which do you prefer and why?

Snaps???
I have never used a snap for any of my crankbaits, but I got to admit, it is sometimes a pain in butt the retie a new lure on. All my cranks have split rings on them. Can I just put the snap on the split ring or you only use a snap when there is no split rings?

"E" series. The good, The bad, and the ugly.
I don't really care what color it is as long as it's not something ugly like a hot pink.

are worms and jigs enough or do i need a lot of other lures
I probably catch less fish than my partners when I go fishing, but I love to throw cranks and spinnersbaits. To me, it's a lot more fun... if I were to catch 2 bass per hour compared to 4 bass on plastics, I will fish my cranks and spinners. On the other hand, if I am not producing, I will go slow. Some days the cranks catch me a lot of fish, but it all depends.

Deep crankbaits?
With 90% fat free shad cranks in my tackle box, go with the 7F fat free shad. It works works great. It's such an easy bait to fish and even has a great action at slow speeds. They are 5-6 bucks with nice finishes and sharp hooks. I like the strike king sexy shad, but now since bomber came out with the foxy shad. I don't buy any strike king cranks, only spinnerbaits.

Berkley SS304 guides
Not many people fish berkley rods on this forum I assume, but I just bought my first berkley rod. It's a series 1. I won't be able to use it until warmer weather. I hope wonder how it'll be.

fluro leaders
If I am using 50lb braid with a 12lb diameter, should I always be matching it up with a 12lb fluoro? Since flouro is invisible underwater, can I get away with 15+ lbs fluoro, or the connection between 2 different diameters not work well together. I mean I do standard fishing and all, but let's say I had to only choose 1 pack of leader line. Maybe I want 17lb that can cover both weightless sinko and heavy cover jig fishing. Advice?

GHOST'S FISHING ROOM
That is nice... I wish more people would upload their storage of fishing tackles. I have mine piled up all over the place.

Fenwick HMG & Berkley Series One
I'll be picking up a Berkley Series 1 rod tommorow, I will let you know how it feels for now since I won't be fishing it until warmer weather. I also have a Fenwick EliteTech Crankshaft 50/50 Delay that I am yet to try. They are on Christmas special at my local tackle store. The only other fenwick rod I've used is a Eagle GT and it's very good starter rod and for the money.

Other than black bass, what do like to fish for the most?
White bass is another great fish to catch.

fluro leaders
What is a good leader? I've been using BPS flouro.

Video at Bass Pro Shop
I never said anything about it being okay or not wrong to do, but to me it was funny and I'm sure it was for a lot of people as well and a bunch other that thought it was ignorant.

Crankbait wide wobbles and tight wobbles
Like the old saying goes, bass will eat anything infront of their face. If they are feeding on shad, they will eat a crawfish and vice versa. I think if they are aggressive, they are willing to chase down a bait and when they are not such as winter a slow moving crankbait will be a easy meal. I do believe in general rules because they will make the difference in catching more bass, but that doesn't mean if you don't follow then, you won't catch fish.

Video at Bass Pro Shop
Hmmm, being 23 I think it's pretty funny actually. I laughed. There are far worse things in this world that these idiots could of done to hurt someone or put other people's lives at risk than just jumping into a tank of water at BPS. I mean they could of taken a dump or poured chlorine in it to kill of the fish thinking it was funny to see all the fish upside down. It was harmless so I laughed beause to me it was funny. If you didn't think it was funny then oh well. They are still idiots and I wouldn't do it myself.

Do You Eat Bass?
I will take a bass or 2 from each trip, but I am allowed to keep up to 7 from my fishing lisence. I much prefer to eat other fishes such as crappie, walleye, trout, and especially salmon RAW (sushi). bass is okay, but not the best tasting fish.

rattle or no rattle on jigs
When do you choose to use one with or without? Do you have a preference for each season? Do some of you always use jigs with rattle and some just never use rattles? I'm new to fishing jigs so I need help.
-
Can I use a 1/2 OZ jig on a Medium rod?
I think the problem is pulling a fish out of cover. A heavier rod will be better at it.

What annoys you?
OKAY... You win... I HATE WINTER!!!!!!! Only thing I like about it is Christmas season when the sales are effective and the people are jolly.

Gear Ratio for Cranking
I was gonna buy a 5:1 ratio reel just for crankbaiting, but I think a 6:1 will be just fine aslong as your not doing deep divers. I think you can get away with up to 12 feet and with a 6:1, you can use it for other techniques as well. People keep telling me, its easier to slow down a reel than it is to speed up.
