  1. Some tips I got was to fish deeper... As the water might be pressured, so think deep. Pretty much all I can say. I plan to fish a local canal this summer and try my luck. When I was younger, my dad caught a 7 pounder from that small canal.
  2. Yep... I checked my Accord and you can pull the back seat down. Now I can fit a 8' + rod in my car and still have extra room. That is, if I don't have anymore people in my car than me and a friend. I knew about the window idea, but never bothered to use it because of the loud noise on the highway.
  3. How do you fit your rods that are 7' + into your small sedans such as a Toyota Corolla? My longest rod right now is 7', but I can barely fit it into my Honda Accord... It's just a hassle for me taking it in and out, I'm scared I'll damage it...
  4. I just got my bottle of scent from TW and I plan to use it on all my soft plastics this season. Especially my Gary Yamamoto baits since they are only salt impregnated I assume. 1) Do I apply the scent onto the bait, wait a minute or can I just apply and cast away. 2) When do you reapply? After every fish? What if I don't catch a fish after 20 cast? 3) Do you apply the scent on baits that have scent already such as Yum baits?
  5. I have the same card as well... I got it a long time ago, but it is still in excellent condition. Photocopy the card and laminate it in plastic.

I put all my hooks into a plano storage box. Just take your time and be careful.
  7. One hot looking fish... haha... good catch!
  8. This is the method I use to tell. I take a spinnerbait to determine: If I can see 2 feet or more = clear stained = 6 inches to 2 feet muddy = anything less than 6 inches
  9. Why shop at BPS anyways. It's not like the prices are better.

The Paca Chunk is so much cheaper and is great. Can't beat the price.
  11. I know you tried the Curado DPV and Winch... How about giving the new E5 a try?
  12. I haven't gotten the chance to use the fluke yet, but as I was thinking the same thing.
  13. buzzbait in the mornings... spinnberbait after that.... can't go wrong with a senko either...

Atleast you get the taste of warm weather and some sun light. Here it's just white outside. When I mean white, I mean all you see is white. If it isn't the snow then it's the roads dried up with white salt. I am really waiting for spring to roll along...
  17. .... huh? If I won the lottory, I still wouldn't buy those...
  18. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..!!
  19. I have both types of rods at home and I prefer the non split grips. I haven't gotten used to the splits yet since I recently started using them. For me right now when I pick up my rod and go to cast it, the split part still feels weird.
  20. What colours do you guys like for the C4? I have the baby bass and aurora black, but haven't landed any fish on them yet. Btw, I changed all my elite bait hooks from the red ones to black nickel.
  21. My biggest crankbait other than a DD22 or 7F Fat Free Shad is the Bomber Balsa B which dives to 3'. It's 2.5", but it's a really big shallow bait. Check it out. I've caught a few fish on it from the bank around 3 ish pounds. Not big, but for Canada, anything over 3 is pretty good, 5 lb can be a personal best.
  22. I am looking forward to what people's reviews are going to be for the new Energy PT BC reel. It looks sooooo nice....!!
  23. FLAT A, silver flash color. I picked up a few spro little johns and I want a few more.
