  1. Can you give me your experiences with this rod? I want the 7' MH-Fast to be used as an all around rod; t-rigs, up to 3/8-1/2oz jigs, 3/8-1/2oz spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, paddle tail swimbait, etc. Most lilkely everything except cranks and lighter apps.. How does it compare to a maybe a Crucial or a Compre? How it handles, the sensitivity? Btw, what is carbon veil? This is a graphite rod right?
  2. When I was younger and saved up enough money to buy a baitcaster, I had no idea what the breaks were for or what a tension knob was. I took the baitcaster out for about a year and I had no issues at all casting anything I wanted. It's all thumb control... I had backlash after backlash until I learned how to control the spool with my thumb properly.
  3. The reel isn't as comfortable for me. I think it's a little too low and too small for my hands. My hand hurts from holding it after a day of fishing. I prefer the D > E and I can care less if it's 2 ounces heavier.
  4. All my BC rods are 1-piece and my spinnings are 2-pieces. When I fish my dad, we fish live bait so I don't bring my BCs along.
  5. Bass is good, but Is still prefer to eat other type of game fish. I wonder what Burley is trying to say? Lol...
  6. Take the extra effort and keep your stuff inside, I wouldn't know where to begin if I had to replace my arsenal again. Sorry to hear...
  7. If I recall correctly, I remember my cousin using this bait for pike and caught a few bass on it. He nosed hooked the bait with a weedless hook and swam the bait letting it fall, swim the bait again and let it fall back down. I might want to pick up a gar of this since this is pike season prime time.
  8. Do you guys use megastrike for any other game fish other than LMB and SMB? Walleyes, Crappies, Northern Pike, Trouts, etc.
  9. I am Canadian and I've been to Ottawa, but only to snowboard and ski. No fishing yet, too far to drive with all boarding buddies.
  10. I bought a few foxy shad and never considered it to be a sexy shad colour. The foxy shad looks the same, but the dark purple ish back is really nice and makes it different even though it's copied. I like the Normal DNL sexy shad color best for sexy shad. Haven't used these colours much, but we'll see how it competes with the good old white and firetiger. I think it'll produce about the same. I Haven't really had a bait that stands out and catch more fish than another.
  11. Hey, it's the professor!
  12. Either Crappie or Walleye has my vote, although I rarely get to eat them.
  13. Love mine as well...
  14. Any lake with less weed and grass... I'm not that great of a soft plastic fisherman.
  15. Thanks for all the replies, I plan on using them this season. I hope it produces as well as everyone loves them.
  16. Pretty much the same. I would always get white and fire tiger because they have been excellent for me when I only had enough money to pick 1-2 color.
  17. How do you fish your zoom trick and finesse worm?

WOW... I love #3. If I didn't have money issues and the canadian dollar wasn't so weak, I would want my own batch of your cranks.
  19. 1) People who are rude, loud and don't know simple manners like saying thank you. 2) Traffic. I hate being stuck in traffic. 3) Fishing: I hate it when I buy a lure and something is wrong with it such as a scratch, crack, messed up split ring, etc.
  20. Bomber Fat Free Shad. Also added a bunch of Bandits because everyone loves these baits as well.
  21. Do you have a recipe for homemade Hot Chili Oil? I can recommend you a brand. This brand is great for putting in your chinese soup eg. instant noodles for some spice, dumplings, and use it for cooking. My mom doesn't bother to make anything which she can buy better. This brand is the best. Try to get it or let me know if you want.
  22. Which ones do you own and use? Review please. I live not as far North as you and I am wondering how they work with the Northern Strain of LMB I can't put out a review because I bought 2 late in the season last year. I took them out to a pond which I usually go to for testing new lures and I managed to catch a couple bass. They catch fish, but I'm still not sure how to use them really. All the lakes up in Ontario have a lot of pike so I hope I don't lose one before catching any LMB. Please do when you get them out. I am very curious how they work upNorth. For sure. From what I know, paddle tail swimbaits are really popular up here. I hear people talking about them everywhere I go. I haven't heard much about hard swimbaits yet. We'll see what happens when the season is around.
