  1. Since I'm chinese/viet and that sauce being in every asian persons kitchen, I would have to say I don't like it. I prefer other hot sauces, but if you have Pho, it's a must... my mom makes great pho at home and I'm so blessed to be able to eat it once a week. I don't have to pay $7 for a bowl of crap with too much m.s.g. at the restaraunt.
  2. My gf asked me why'd they have a cow color and I was like because if a cow were to swim like a injured bait fish, a bass will eat it. But in all seriousness, what is with some of the colors? I think mistake was cool color...
  3. Which ones do you own and use? Review please. I live not as far North as you and I am wondering how they work with the Northern Strain of LMB I can't put out a review because I bought 2 late in the season last year. I took them out to a pond which I usually go to for testing new lures and I managed to catch a couple bass. They catch fish, but I'm still not sure how to use them really. All the lakes up in Ontario have a lot of pike so I hope I don't lose one before catching any LMB.
  4. Dumbest purchases for me are all the things I haven't used yet. Sitting at home collecting dust and have never seen water. Second dumbest purchases is not catching bass on baits that have seen water. Every week I go fishing, I use the same color green pumpkin senkos and shallow cranks. I manage to do well so I haven't really tried any other baits. So what is the problem here? I continue to buy crankbaits because they look so pretty! Less than 25% of my stuff have been put to use.
  5. Just because you guys love em, it doesn't mean that it's not overpriced. If tungsten cost $9.99 a pack, people will still buy them and tell me that they are worth the money. I got mine off somesite.com for $.99 a pack, but I wouldn't pay full price for it and neither will many of the weekend anglers just for weights as good as they are. I'm just talking about the weights, their swimbaits, I have different view on that.
  6. They are over priced for sure. $4.99 starting for 3-4 pieces is ridiculous.
  7. If you've never been to BPS, go check it out. The first time is great, but after that, it's not worth a second trip.
  8. Yep, I bought Tenn. Shad and Chart./Blue Back for every size.
  9. Man, if I could paint baits like those, I would just buy used baits for a couple of dollars and repaint.
  10. It depends how much water time you give those baits. I keep buying stuff that I want and bottom line is... less than 25% of what I got have seen water. Yet, I still continue to buy more. Waste of money in my opinion, but the bait monkey has got me by the rear end. What can I do.
  11. I second that, even if it's only just some of the more hard to find rare ones for a few pics. +1
  12. You guys put it on all the soft plastics including zoom horny toads?
  13. For that video his 3rd idea was the use the rod to free the bait. Is dropping your reel into the water a good idea? I done it once by accident and it messed up my reel. I believe water might have gotten into the gears and it started to grind a lot making this weird noise.
  14. Yes, I buy Quantum rods. No, I'm not a fan of the Reels. Although, the new 2009 models look so nice.
  15. Placed my order today based on colors I liked and a few recommendations. Looking forward to them arriving.
  16. My favourite stained water color is white or a pearl white.
  17. When do you use that "mistake" color? I want to buy that color now just for the concept and eye candy of it.
  18. You've probably done this, but try looking on eBay. I go on there to find the old Excalibur Fat Free Shads.
  19. I went online today to buy some Bandit crankbaits because I heard so much about them and I was literally overwhelmed with all the colours. I usually know which colours work well, but I want some opinion of what colours you like best. I decided to buy a couple from the 100, 200 and 300 series. Here are my top 3 choices, if you can, please follow the same format and let me know your choices. 100 series: 1) Perfect Blue Gill 2) Baby Bream 3) Tenn. Shad 200 series: 1) Tenn. Shad 2) Baby Bass 3) Rootbeer 300 series: 1) Tenn. Shad 2) Chart. Blue Back 3) Citrus Shad
  20. Same with a lot of other companies. eg. Norman Lures
  21. Looking forward to using the new formula this season.
