Yo-Zuri Hybrid Dissapearing?
The only place I have ever had it in my area is sports authority. They have it randomly now. Bps, academy and dicks doesnt have it here. I order it. You guys are scaring me. I switched to yozuri so long ago. ...I don't even know what I would switch to if it was gone.

Cheapest Bps Walker Is Pretty Much An Exact Sammy Clone?
Agreed. And I will say, the higher end xps stuff at bps is pretty good stuff. I've never had a problem with it. But it always seems to be a dollar more than the h2o stuff and I just stay with academy. I haven't had a single good hard bait from bps "value" line.

Flipping Lake Seminole Help
Hi! I haven't been out there this summer. I'm sure I will be going very soon though as the fall bite is insane there. I'm sure you know that flipping and frogging the mats is money right now. ...and should still be in a few weeks . Think small. They are highly pressured. However, if the water temp drops, bring your favorite lipless cranks! The trap bite on Seminole is something I wait all year for! Good stuff! Squarebills on the mat edges produce too! Speed worms over the grass flats, spinnerbaits .... just about anything will be good in a few weeks/ month if we can get some cooler weather. If not. ... grinding it out on the mats is the only answer. ...and that can be tough but rewarding! C-rigs and jigs on offshore humps can work too if you can find some without thick grass on them. Good luck! Feel free to give a full report when you're done!

Cheapest Bps Walker Is Pretty Much An Exact Sammy Clone?
I have a Sammy. I also have a handful of the acedemy h2o knockoffs. The Sammy is well built and beautiful. The knockoffs. ...eh. not bad. That's where the difference stops. If I didnt know which one was tied on, I doubt I could tell. They cast and walk the same. The fish seem to feel the same. However IMO - the super cheap bps knockoff is NOT the same. I didn't like it at all. It sat funny. It walked odd. Its finish was questionable. I caught a fish on it and looked twice at the hooks because I just didn't trust them. I gave it away. I only buy/use the h2o's now. ...and have the Sammy in reserve for that super finicky, crystal clear water day when I can't get them to take the knockoff. That day hasnt come yet.

Installing Anchor Trolley On Lure 10 Or 11.5 Kayak
I will try to take a pic of my setup. . But if you search "removable anchor trolley" on YouTube you will see what I'm talking about. No need to drill holes or anything just yet- not until you're 100% on where you want things placed and stuff.

Mh Power Question
I have a 7'mh veritas. It is stiff. Like, I use it for jigs in 20' of water stiff. Its light and sensitive and I love it. But it is what I would consider a Heavy medium heavy. Lol. My 7' medium/fast veritas is quickly becoming my favorite rod for moving lures. ....but I digress. The mh veritas would be more than adequate for the things you listed. But possibly a bit stiff for some peoples liking.

Is It Possible To Have A Finesse Spinning Bass Setup That's Also Good For Sw (Redfish, Trout)?
Fishing off a pier, you are not going to want to use a finesse setup. Even if you catch some fish that rod can handle, you still have to hoist them up from the water to where you are- no small feat! A rod that would be good for finesse bass fishing would only be good for catching small trout and whiting off a pier IMO. If you hang a redfish of any size, it is going to bully you into the pilings and cut you off. And we won't even talk about any other fish typically caught off a pier ( catfish, mackerel, sharks. ...etc) . In general though, if you are fishing out of some sort of boat or wading, a medium spinning rig with braid and a smooth drag can handle almost all trout and most lower slot reds . I wouldn't use a ML rod unless you were specifically targeting speckled trout over grass beds. If you want assurance to get in the slightly bigger fish, you want a mh. Inshore fishing is a different strength set than bass fishing. The power even a small jack cravelle has is insane. Fwiw I fish as much, no. .. probably more. .. inshore than I do bass fishing. And I use an old curado on a mh berkley lightening rod in my kayak. This is because the old curado is almost all plastic, and the lightening rod is strong and cheap. Salt will kill everything you own. Period. Even if its "made for salt" its only a matter of time. You just have to do the best you can and take care of your gear. Lightly mist your rods and reels with fresh water everytime you take them out in the salt. Rinse all the lures you use that day too. If a reel gets submerged, its time for a complete tear down. When you get home. Not a week later. Any bass rod will work inshore, and any decent quality reel will also if you baby it. Saltwater designed reels are the way to go however. You can use saltwater stuff for bass fishing and vice versa- Lures and everything! Have fun. I warn you though. ..... its addicting. Trout are delicious and after you catch your first red on topwater, there's no going back!

New Casting Setup?
They are both great reels for the price. I only have any REAL experience with the accurist- but not the newest model. Get which ever one feels the best to you on the rod you want to buy. Make the sales guy let you try each reel on the rod. That being said. ... here's a bunch of people in a row that will say the Abu is the clear choice and not to bother with the quantum:

Best Budget Cranking Rod
Lots of great suggestions here all over the price spectrum. Ill just add that if you want to get the ugly stik, go with the "graphite lite" series with the cork handles. Its 100times the rod the regular ugly stik is and is not much more money.

Using 7.x:1 For Everything?
So much this. IMO wanting a lower ratio for deep cranks has alot more to do with torque than it does speed. Dragging a 3/4oz lure, 20+ft underwater and grinding the bottom will wear you out. But like mentioned above, having the appropriate gear for the resistance your encountering makes life alot easier.

Installing Anchor Trolley On Lure 10 Or 11.5 Kayak
IMHO- I don't see a need for a pulley at all. And that opinion is based on having two trolleys on my yak and using them for five years now. Looking at your yak ( awesome choice btw! )... you could easily just attach a bungee to your front handle>brass clip>paracord>2"ring > paracord> brass clip>bungee>middle handle. Then do the same set up back to your back handle. That's how I have mine and I have not had a single time where I needed the ring to go from the front all the way to the back without a quick unhooking from one run to the other. Don't skimp on the brass clips. They are the first thing to go. Good luck!

How Do You Organize/store Your Jigs In Boxes?
Ahhhhh.....yeah! Gotcha! I didn't even think about the weed guards. Perfect. I will have to do this then. My current jig system is a mess. I can just do jigs and spinnerbaits, chatterbaits etc in the one box. Thanks!

How Do You Organize/store Your Jigs In Boxes?
Do the jigs fall out if you turn the box on its side or what have you ? I know spinnerbaits are held in by the wire forcing them down. I have to store my boxes on end. ... will this still hold?

Best Way To Get 'un-Hung'
Bow and arrow trick works really really well. For the life of me though, I can't find a video of someone doing it for you. Get yourself in a semi-slack line set up, where you can still! feel the lure but are not pulled tight on the snag. Lift your rod to about a 1.30-2oclock position and then grab your line with your other hand like a bow. Don't pull it back far like a bow though, you just want to get your line tight. Now when you release your line, whip your rod to about a 3-4oclock position at the same time. Repeat. The theory behind this is your "shooting" a bit of slack down to your lure. The quick momentum of pressure and release, dislodges the snag. This works maybe 80% of the time if your weight or lure is snagged, and maybe 40% of the time if your actual hooks are in the cover. I use it constantly on c-rigs and crankbaits. Good luck! Edit: if you're doing this with a crankbait, when you release, settle your rod for a second pointing at the lure. This is to let the bait backout and float up. When you lift your rod to do it again, go slowly, feeling whats going on, so you don't pull your lure back into the same snag if it has popped out. Also, don't be too surprised when you pull up to check that your line pulls back! I have caught many a fish popping my crankbait out of a snag!

How Many Lures Do You Have?
Hi, I'm David and I'm a lureaholic. I have an embarrassing amount of tackle. Like. ... 6 Tupperware totes full to capacity that I haven't used in 5 years. Plus my everyday load out, plus my kayak specific stuff, plus the small bag in my jeep, and then there's the stack of season specific boxes that I rotate into my everyday load out. I'm pushing 20 something bass rods. I'm not even counting my inshore/ saltwater stuff. I have a problem . I told the Mrs I need to have a yardsale or open a flea market booth to sell some of this great bass stuff that our local stores don't have. She said that'd be great because then I could spend that money on NEW tackle. She smiled dryly. She gets me.
