I had about an inch of snow on the ground this morning, but by the afternoon it was almost melted. It still irretates me though. Hey Izz, its funny what difference 25 miles can make in the Chicagoland area!

I can go fishing either way, but I mostly enjoy going out with my fishin buddy Rick(Izzy3374). Good company is hard to find, and we pretty well understand each others rules. I actually also bringing along my ol' lady, but she is not real into fishing, so it gets kinda dufficult to have her around.

Excellent fish and a great story! I love rain fishing, I usually do well, and I find it vry peaceful.

Well, in highschool, I worked at a pet store that specialized in fish. We had to stop feeding goldfish to the Oscars and other ciclids because of a disease commonly refered to as "hole in the head disease". It was believed to be caused by a small protozoan that lives naturally in goldfish. It literally looked like someone drilled holes in the heads of these poor fish. I will do some research tomorrow, to get some more detailed info. Needless to say, I would not use goldfish as bait.
