  1. There is no cover on her cat box. We used to have one when we forst got her, but she had no interest in that.......so we have went coverless. i may place random ones through out the house to see if she uses them.
  2. I love my sweets as well, but this gave me a stomach ache and a root canal just reading it! I have a secondary candy that I love, next to Snickers..........That would be Abba Zaba. As a matter of fact, I have a box sitting in the freezer or them. Love'em frozen!!
  3. this kinda goes back to the thread I had a few days ago about which air tool to go with. My question is this....... How do you know which one to go with? You don't exactly know the "power" of the tool till you start using it right? Are there features of a 1/2" impact wrench that you should pay close attention to (besides the brand)? Out of all the brands that you guys have referred me to, I'd like to line up the impact wrenches that fit best for my compressor and go from there. The impact wrench will be used for automotive work, and nothing more at this point. I have a 30 Gallon Craftsman Air compressor, model #919.165570 specifications: Max Developed HP = 5.0 Running HP = 1.7 Bore = 2.375" Stroke = 1.35" Cut In = 120 Cut Out = 150 SCFM @ 40psig = 7.8 SCFM @ 90psig = 5.8
  4. I don't understand is that?
  5. Ha, I was gonna add the whatchamacolate but forgot....oops I eat snickers EVERYTHING as well. I NEVER get a different blizzard at DQ other than Snickers......YUM!!! Thought about the whole Reeses thing, but figures it wasn't a bar.........
  6. There are so many to pick from, but do you have a favorite? If not listed above, choose other and spill it.....what do YOU like?
  7. Oh Snap!! (no pun intended ) OHIO, PM sent
  8. I am really tossed on what to do right now. I have a Siamese cat that is roughly 12-13 years old. She has gotten to the point to where she is very colse to being 100% blind. She can't really walk through the house without running in to the walls or any obstacles in her way. Now she isn't running at full speed but fast enough to where i know she feels it. She is a very skitterish cat, always has been. So when she gets spooked by one of the dogs or spooked by her own breath, she panics and tries to run away.......then SMACK, the wall jumps out in front of her. She has also started to isolate herself in one area of the house where she sits, sleeps and just relaxes. It seems as if her sense of smell is still outstanding. So she gets around by the scent of whatever she smells. Quite impressive. (ex:we are having dinner or eating anything that strikes her fancy (meat), she's over there in a heart beat) She knows where the cat litter room is and that is where she eats, drinks and occassionally uses the cat box. Iv'e seen her in there. But for some odd reason, she is going to the bathroom (both 1 and 2) in random spots throughout the house. I can't figure out why. Every morning we wake up and there is a new pile that she has left behind. frustrating as hell. From what I can tell, she is in good health. She very seldom throws up, eats, drinks and meows every once in awhile to let me know she's still kicking. At what point do I have her put down? I realize she may be healthy but I know its not good for her with no sight. Then to add to it, she is using the house as a cat box. what to do, what to do
  9. When it comes to impact wrenches, I notice that the socket slides off the shaft of the driver very easily. I like on the standard Craftsman ratchets, you have to push the center button in to get the socket on the wrench. Why do the impact wrenches not have this ability? Im constantly having to reseat the socket and continue. Kinda gets to be a pain in the arse.
  10. I have seen this brand around Home Depot as well as Wal Mart, has anyone ever used Campbell Hausfeld? Junk?
  11. tipptruck1 - I'm listening.........uhhh, how bout sending that 40% discount my way so I can buy a craftsman Impact wrench
  12. Out of all the 1/2" air impact wrenches on the market, which ones do you prefer for the at home DIY'er? Are there any that are very reasonable in cost and that last forever with a lot of power?
  13. This kinda goes along with my previous posts about the air tool issue and water in the compressor but................. I have a 30 gallon Craftsman compressor. And I have replaced the drain plug once in the past cause it was nearly impossible to open and close to drain. Although I have learned my lesson about draining the water from it, I am running in to the same problem again. When trying to drain the water, the thumb screw will not budge. SO i end up using vice grips to open/close it. For whatever reason, whenever I close it all the way, I turn the compressor on and all the air goes right through the drain plug. Why is this doing that? It's like its not sealing or closing the drain plug to fill up with air. So again, I have to buy another drain plug. Am I doing something wrong? Here is a link to the compressor I have. It shows the part number of the drain valve I need to replace it but are these a pretty typical size or do they differ from tank to tank? I see these valves at home depot, but unsure of the fit. the compressor parts list does not display the size, but rather a part number. Any help? 14. For those that store their softplastics in the original bags and then placed on a pegboard with hooks.........when you have so many, how do you determine what goes out on the water with you each time? Or do you end up taking everything? I use a very small tote with all my plastics in the original bags, so that way they are always with me and I don't have to worry about the "crap, i left it at home"
  15. I have a 30 gallon compressor, and if I use the compressor for 5- 10 minutes and drain it......it then dumps all air in canister so I have to wait for it to refill every time I wanna use it. Thats a big compressor to have to keep dumping air after every use. am i over thinking this?
  16. ok, I happen to work thre so I will check next time I am scheduled to work. As for draining. I jut opened the drain plug and it started to drain the water. It was clear at first then turned to rust color. The rust didn't last long at all, the water that came out was more clear than anything. The amount of water that came out was in fact quite a bit. So that has all been drained now. As long as I keep draining this like I should, at what point would I consider the compressor ruined? Since there is rust on the inside, am I ok or is it messed up beyond all repair?
  17. hmmmm, so it doesnt sound like the wrench at all. a few years ago, i remember taking the plug out of the compressor to drain the water out but nothing ever came out....so wasnt sure why. thats not to say there isnt water sitting in it right now........i will drain that and see what happens. as for the oil, what type of oil do i use?
  18. hey all I have a Grizzly Air Impact Wrench that I bought from grizzly.com a number of years ago. For the number of times that I use it in a given month, I felt it was perfect for what I needed it for. (Occassional automotive work). Well, recently I have been taking on more of the DIY automotive fixes and am noticing some odd results from how this wrench has been acting. I am not sure if it is because of the brand/quality or maybe because the wrench is in the need of a replacement. Allow me to explain When using the impact, I notice that when the socket is on a bolt, it will more times than not, stop spinning and air will come out the trigger part. It will work a couple seconds then stop and blow nothing but air out the trigger. At first I didn't think to much of it but then the wrench started to become ice cold. Which I thought was really odd. It was blowing spits of water out the trigger button and again, the unit was becoming very cold. In the whole process, it would work a couple seconds but more times than not, would not spin at all and just blow air. Is this normal for an air impact wrench? What do these signs mean?
  19. tons of people bump....i dont mind bumping but it does get annoying sometimes when you ALWAYS see the same threads at the top. I was able to get my answer so im set. now I am installing the new one...........
  20. this is true but when you have a $100 budget, that $20 can go towards lures!!!
  21. i already belong to that site but since it gets so much traffic and posts, posts get pushed further and further down the list....eventually missed. besides, i have always gotten a good response from this site on things like this also.
  22. Those of you that monitor the BPS sales and see how often the Pro Qualifier goes on sale, maybe you can help me. The last sale they had ont he PQ was just a few weeks ago. At that time, I did not have the funds to purchase it. Well now I do, and they are not having the $20 off sale that I am looking for. I have contacted customer support for some type of hint on when the next sale is..........they were not able to leak that information out. So, since they just had this sale a few weeks ago, are the sale times hit or miss or do they have them on a set time frame each year? I was hoping for the sale this coming weekend (memorial day), but it's not looking good. any one have any inside info on these?
  23. no, this has two belts. the serpentine and the little one that goes around the power steering pump.
  24. I disconnected all lines. Something is holding the pump in but I can't see it. I have been told to invest in a Bentley manual but I can't drop $50-$60 on one right now.
  25. I have a Saint Bernard (Oscar) and a Black Lab mix (Taz). The Saint Bernard is about 8-1/2 years old. He weighs roughly 120. He was the runt of the litter, which I think I should be grateful for. His father weighed in at close to 200lbs. That would have been one hell of a food bill each month. He still thinks he is a puppy and insists on being a lap dog. He's a big old teddy bear though. You could just give him a big old bear hug. He's my boy!! The Lab mix is about 5-6 years old. He has tons of energy!! Loves to play and run and constantly smiles!! He is a very happy dog!!! This one is my wifes dog. Although we both spoil the crap out of both, he still knows who mommy is . He is roughly 75 pounds and just like Oscar, he thinks he's a lap dog too. Here is the only picture I have of them together.
