Get a scoop net (or small cast net with very thin holes) go to a local bream pond and start scoopin'. put everything but minners (minnows) in you bucket, bass, tilapia, bream, catfish, crawfish, bowfin, and the occasional, mystery fish :-?! I did the same thing, with a 50gl tank, if you get anything good, like bass and bream, go to the place you got the fish at and get small minners they love them, it's also fun to watch 'em get 'et!

WTH kind of video are you trying to show us? Home video, needs censorship? Hmmm..... :-X It's not that bad, I just video taped my friend trying to use a bait caster for the first time, he flicked me off!

I won't normally trim the skirt till after I'm on the water. But I will trim it before I go if it's really long. I've never timed the weed guard though.

I use dip sticks red with chartreuse tail, Saturday I caught a 8" bass on a 6", man them things got eyes bigger than their stomach. ;D

sounds like a lot of trouble for not so nice bass Ya but it's only about 5 miles from where I live so I can ride my bike every weekend or so. Great for weekends when my dad's swamped with home work (he's trying to get his doc. degree). And if I'm not catching anything, I can just get a popper and fly and tie the 2 together and kill the blue gill!

I've got a lake that's chocked full of hydrilla, I can't seam to find any lure that I can use with out pulling but 10lbs of weeds. I've used tiki sticks but with little results. The pond is not known for bass over about a pound and a half. It has about 8 foot of viz, so it's pretty clear. Could y'all help me out? :-?

I like a slow tip for when I'm fishing cover, it's got a lot of back bone so you can horse the fish in. I like a fast tip when I'm casting light lures, and not heavy cover (rocks for example).

I always like to put a trailer hook on buzz baits, 8 out of 10 times; I'll get them on the trailer hook.

About a year and a half ago, right after spawn.

I caught the bigger one on a 5" black/blue stick bait. He caught his on a white pond magic spinner. The bigger fish maybe went 5 lbs. I hate that thing too, but I don't know any other way to carry what I want while bank beating. :-/ You say 5lbs, I would say more like 8!

10lb bass (25 inches) my dad caught, on a 3/8 chartreuse spinner bait, ultra light spinning tackle (don't quote me on that, it was about a year and a half ago), with 30lb braid. BTW if it looks really skinny it's be because it was right after spawn.

Maybe you could dig out the pic of the 7 lbr, it's in the box with the pic of the 15 and the 10 your dad caught on an ultra light. : And it's spelled "pounder" He caught the 15lb before I was born, and I have no clue if he even has a pic of it (personally I'm a bit skeptical my self). And I don't know how to scan pics so I can put them on the computer, I'm sure my dad knows, I'll just ask him when he wakes up. All and due time.

Computer problems, screen keeps going on and off every 3sec. I have rebooted the computer and same thing; I cheek all the plug-ins and still the same. In fact, I'm having to turn the screen on and off to write this. Could anyone help me out?
