I'm getting one, but, I don't no if I will be getting one, I'm happy with the one I have now, sure it's not "top end", but works, and I don't get many backlashes with it. Instead, I'll hope to get one for my dad, who right not, is kinda out a good bass pole, it's not even a bait caster, just a cheep 30$ spinner he's had for about 1 1/2. I hope to get him a BPS Extreme combo. It's Christmas.

I got a cool idea, when, and if, you glue the hole, try gluing some spinner bait skirt on that too, give a jack asz kinda look. ;D

Yum 3-1/4" Crawbug, a light weighted hook, it falls very slow, 2-4" a second, I'm not sure the weight. The hook is not actually weighted with lead I think it's glass or some king of plastic. I would get the chartreuse color if I was gonna but it on a black jig, and just dip the end of the skirt. You could also dip the trailer.

I was fishing with a plastic craw fish a last weekend, and getting lots of little dinks, non of them bigger than 1lb or so. And I was wondering if I could use a jig and get bigger fish?

Blue Gills usually spawn in the summer, and yes the bass start feeding in the fall, unless its a south Florida targeted article I throw out most of the literature on bass behavior when it comes to down here, most of its written based on the rest of the country. And by South Florida I consider from Kissimmee south. Thats one thing i have noticed. Every Bass Fishing magazine I read, seems like the information doesnt really match up with South Florida Patterns. The Bass behave soo differently because we dont have Winter down here, so alot of the info is useless. Thanks for all the info guys!! Can you or anyone else advise any books that deal with south Florida fishing?

So the south Florida spawn is in the winter months. Dose this mean that in fall, the bass are not only eating up for winter, but the spawn as well? Now that I think of it, it makes scents, last week end I saw a recently abandoned bass bed. I did not really acknowledge it 'til now. If the books I have read serve me right than the blue gills spawn after the bass, not before. I'm I right?

Has anyone ever done a non traditional Thanks giving dinner? I watch food network and see all these non traditional Thanks giving dinners, they look good! Anyone try these?

Round what temp. do bass get lock jaw? And also would a good why to find the water temperature of the depth and area I'm fishing at be to tie a thermometer to a pole, cast to were I'm fishing, let it site for a few minutes, and reel it back up and check the temperature?

The toll roads all most always have ponds next to them, I find these to be a honey holes. check around the turn pike, all ways canals along there. The place I fish the most is one of the small 2-3 acer lakes around the Jupiter Turn Pike, it's no more than 10 min. from my house! I plan to go check out some lakes I saw on Google maps, All close, I could ever ride my bike!

Automobile tires? I was swimming in some river and I saw a whole Automobile! I would not do it! They could rust, and disperse all kinds of bad stuff in the water.

You can some times prevent them from sinking if you put a dot of super glue on the hole in the bottom.

I picked up some Gander Mt. jig trailers last weekend, they look like a Paca Chunk, and a yum chunk combined, lets hope they work!
