  1. As far as your skirt question. I tie my own using silicone and round rubber. Personally, I think the combination of different materials gives a better action to the skirt. The silicone is great because there are so many color options. As far as a craw---I pour my own plastic craws, using an original mold I made.
  2. I just ordered 5 of them..........just kiddin' I wouldn't buy them either!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
  3. Wouldn't a Skeeter dealership be able to give you that info. Can you contact Skeeter via telephone??
  4. Am I the only one that is interested in the "Silly Season" of bass fishing. I love seeing who gets the new sponsorship deals and the rest of the 'business' side of things. Maybe I just need to go fishing!!! :D
  5. I am not a Brady fan or a Patriot fan, but....he has 476 pass attempts and 4 interceptions---4!!!! In my opinion, that stat alone is worthy of an MVP.
  6. Good question and some good answers. I think my goal is to get confidence in the drop shot. I always end up putting it away after 10 casts. Then I hear someone else say how much they whacked 'em with it.

  9. I kinda like the lizard.
  10. I think this may not work. The trails are having a lot of trouble finding sponsors for one trail. Now they have to find sponsors for two or split the sponsorship money they have to support both tours. I do think it's a good idea, but there's a lot to work out.
  11. I've used P-Line, Berkley, Vicious, Triple Fish, BPS but the best I've found was Sufix. It fishes well on both spinning and casting gear.
  12. Anyone tried any of their baits? I think I'm going to buy their version of the tube. Just checking the thoughts of anybody you has used their stuff.
  13. Anything by the Lidner's is going to be good. I think they are and have been some of the most educational and informational shows around.

  16. You may want to get something bigger. I've fished the Finger Lakes and Oneida for years...eventhough they are smaller bodies of water, they get rocked by the wind, especially Oneida. Don't get an underpowered boat and the aluminum boat gets tossed around very easily by the wind too. I've fished those lakes in a 16 foot aluminum with a 50 and there were a couple times I wish I had more power, and honestly more boat!!
  17. Someone mentioned Champion. They are now the Stratos Elite series. Still nice boats, but wanted to give you a heads up on that. BTW, I have a Stratos and love it. I think any quality brand is going to suit you fine. The main thing is keeping in your budget and do your homework. I'm not a fan of the dual console. They add weight and take up a lot of room too. Who cares about your partner, they're not paying your boat payments!! ;D
  18. I did a search for neoprene patch kit and some things came up. They look similar to the rubber wader patch kit. Take a look and see if you can find what you need for your particular waders.
  19. Good point....and I've had them quite a long time too!!
  20. Where do you learn how to fix and lube reels the proper way. I've fixed, lubed and cleaned mine and they work great, but I'm not sure it's right way. Is it a matter of trial and error, are there good books or dvd tutorials??
  21. It's not necessarily that's it's Ike's. But to have a boat that's decked out with all the electronics and set up "like the pros" use, I think would be cool.
  22. I saw two of his Bass Cats 2008 and 2009 on sale in the classifieds of another website. The boats are LOADED, still has all of the electronics, and the rest of bells and whistles you would expect...and still wrapped. I think it would be cool to have all that stuff and a boat that he actually used...what do you guys think?? Not that I could buy it anyway, but just curious what you all thought!!
  23. I'm even more impressed!!! The paint is awesome, the hand carved bodies are mind blowing. I struggle with that a lot. I can carve the shape, but they always run like crap. I've moved on to creating and pouring my own plastics...I'll leave the cranks to the masters!!
  24. I'm sure you said it at some point on the forum, but what type of bodies are you using. Are they repaints of factory cranks or do you get the blank unpainted bodies from somewhere??
  25. I have those lizards too, haven't used them in a while. I may just pull those out this spring!! I used the old Gator tail worms until I ran out of them. Don't know if they still make them, but that worm was a killer.
